My mother worked in asylum serving food, and I remember visiting her at work as a little child....and I can only say, people dont ever bring a child there if you work in that kind of a place. Its a dark, bad place....😱All I remember is top secure building, so mental sick people can not escape... Luckaly my mother worked there a few months only... But, dont, just dont ever bring your own kids there.

Josh and friends please be careful when you are going through old tunnels like these. A lot of the piping will be covered in asbestos, I know respirators suck to wear and can make narrating an issue. But your health is the most important thing. Right, I’ll quit acting like your mum now. 😂

@@LiLgPnoy15 clearly not, just someone who’s concerned he may end up with mesothelioma. It was common practice to wrap piping like that in asbestos. This covering breaks down over time and it becomes even more dangerous. Once the fibres (which have a fluffy appearance) are exposed it’s very easy to accidentally inhale them. Potentially resulting in mesothelioma at a later date. I posted my original comment as I wasn’t sure if Josh and his mates were aware of this information. I just want everyone to be happy and healthy, there was noting shitty about my original comment.

You should go to the abandoned Lake Shawnee Amusement Park in West Virginia. It was originally a Native American burial ground and was bought by Mitchell and Phoebe Clay in 1773, Where they build a home and farm next to Lake Shawnee. In 1783 Mr.Clay went on a hunting trip and 11 native Americans killed one of his sons and daughters, both children were scalped as the mother watched horrified out a window and another of her sons were taken hostage. Mrs.Clay grabbed the remaining children and ran though the woods to a neighbors house. But when her husband returned and seen the horrific display he assumed his entire family had been killed or abducted and went seeking justice where he managed to rescue his abducted son. In 1926 Conley T Sniteowl bought the property and decided to turn it into an amusement park for coal miners in the area. It had a dance hall. Swimming hole. Swimming pool. Race Track. Farris Wheel. Haunted hosue and cabins for people to stay in plus much more On the revolving swingset ride a small girl in a pink dress was killed when a delivery truck backed into her while waiting on the ride. It was said the girl was decapitated. Snitwowls own daughter just a year after the park opened tragically died when she was caught in an elevator door at a hotel. A man jumped from the Farris wheel. A 6 year old boy walked into the lake and drowned. An 11 year old boy got his arm hung in a water intake pipe and drowned. For some reason this site seems to take the life of mostly children. The grief caused Sniteowl to close down the park. It sat abandoned for 20 years. Until 1985 Gaylord White purchased the abandoned property in hopes of reviving the once thriving amusement park, his attempt was unsuccessful, however he noticed people's interest in the lands spooky ghost aspect and his family still owns it to this day offering tours and you can stay overnight, you can even still go inside the haunted house. I think it would make a good video, ive always wanted to go and see it and pay my respects to everyone who died there

OMG you just touched that stuff in the OR. The least you can do is take sanitizer! That’s the scariest thing yet!

All those polygraph devices that were stacked on each other would constitute all the test electrodes for an ekg. The e.k.g. measures all the different waves involved in the function of the brain. Mad scientist kinda stuff. They don't need all those to perform a lie detector test. Brain waves just disturbed by a tiny bit can indicate some mental disorders. All I know. I will leave the mad scientist to tell the rest of the story. Most mad doctors have thick glasses, and serious meth issues. Lol. Some psychiatric doctors were very brutal, but watching seizures and episodes for so long can drive you mad , yourself. Just the violence and anger that is omnipresent because so many types of disorders involved confusion, delusions, and when the visitors come, they have to be restrained, but only when their involuntary outbursts are of course, a real risk for the public. Some patients have absolutely no idea when it will happen, either. Welcome to the asylum!

You may be thinking of EEG. The one where they put all the shit on your head. Takes a good day to get all the left over crap out of your hair after they brutal acetone scrubbing after the test.

Good colors, descriptions of things in the hospital, thank youfor sharing Josh, Rise Above to closed mental hospitals, I helped close the places in the 90s. Peace out from me in Vermont

Nice video. It’s surprising to see all the medical equipment still wrapped in plastic. Abandoned asylum’s and hospitals are still my favorite videos to watch.

I don't know WHY asylums both fascinate & terrify me so much. They send chills down my spine! I wonder if I was trapped in one in another life.
