Cheers Nate and Steph. It's been awhile since I commented, but I have been following you two. It's been great seeing you build this business. My truck camper electrical rebuild will likely start next May, earlier if the winter is kind. Enjoy your snow days. Thanks

I think you guys do a great job. I watched many of your series. Suggestion for more views: 1. A series on how to hook up two inverters. Two 12 volt inverters & two 24 volt inverters. All in detail, to include programming & setting up. 2. All because people nowadays are looking for way more power, to run multiple things at the same time. IF ANYONE CAN DO IT, YOU GUYS CAN 👊

We have diagrams and wiring kits available for dual inverter setups already. We have videos that teach how to cut/strip/crimp/heat shrink wires to wire ANYTHING together. We do indeed have dual inverter programming manuals available. Videos on that may come in the future, but we already have resources in place to get our customers all set up for that. Reach out at shop.explorist.life/support if you need some guidance getting started on that kind of project.

Hey Nate 'n' Steph! Thanks for all of the fantastic info over the years. Hope you don't mind an unrelated question on your most recent video here - I'm within a few weeks of buying my own Transit and starting an RV conversion myself. I was watching the videos that you did on your floor and wall installation last night and was wondering if you would have done anything different now that it's been done for a good while? Anything that you've noticed over the past two years that you wished had been different? It looks pretty fantastic to me and was planning to reference it heavily as I start my own project. Thanks again.

Thanks for that! Glad you've found the videos helpful. For flooring; I do indeed still like the way we approached that. For walls; I wouldn't do what we did again just from a sheer labor/workload standpoint. Instead; I'd lean more heavily on the wall kit from Featherbuilt as it's significantly less expensive than adventure wagon and we've also worked with them on a design for an electrical enclosure that fits our wiring kits like a glove: shop.explorist.life/shop/all-products/explore-van-electrical-system-enclosure/ There is also a plumbing cabinet that is mirrored for the other side. Reach out if you need further links for any of that or if you get stuck: shop.explorist.life/support

Braided Wire Loom: Try "split" braided wire loom. Works great.

Nate, in this video you mention having a link in the video description for the cable duct. I’m not seeing that. Am I missing it?

I'm not sure if you intentionally misspelled "abraision" and "proferessional" in those sentences for a bit of a meta-joke 😆 (I'm still absolutely glued to your videos every time they drop btw, and very much appreciate what you do for the community 🙏🏻)

FYI, metallic clamps are required on 18” spacing in any engine room use in the marine industry. ABYC code requires it for safety reasons.

Here’s a good tip. Grab any harness and shake it. If it moves, it’s not secure. Unsecured wires will break inside the insulation, given enough time and movement, making for a nightmare to diagnose.

This is the third or fourth video where you state that you will leave a link to where you get cable ducting, but then you don't. Why?
@EXPLORISTlife27 күн бұрын
What were the other 3-4 videos I stated I would leave a link to the wire duct but then didn't? Want to make sure I fix that. Let me know the links to the videos and I'll get those squared away.

@@EXPLORISTlifebecause I refer to it so often, I know that your mother's RV install video indicates you'd link it, with comments asking where it is. I decided not to use the duct on my RV build. I'll have to go through your many videos to find others.
@EXPLORISTlife27 күн бұрын
Gotcha. I figured since you specifically said 3-4 that you already had a list going. I did add the link to the wire duct in the video referenced. If you link the remaining 2-3 videos you called me out on, I’ll add them to those as well.
