This one in my mind is already one of the best EITS songs of all time. That second half is just pure bliss. The bass line does feel like a call back to Song for our Fathers, I love it.

Same here, I was evicted from a apartment I had last month for 14 years, ended up getting a new job with a company where I worked at before and now I'm renting a room so yeah, this song exemplifies me fighting to get back on my feet with restarting my life over again from scratch. Awesome song from Explosions in the Sky and their End album is so damn good. Been listening to it on repeat a lot.

I've been listening to this album again and again and again, and even after all these times, this song still gives so much strong feelings and tears. I saw you live in Lyon two weeks ago, it was the 5th time for me, and I cried when you played this song. From what I saw, I was not the only one. It is so beautiful and so overwhelming (in a good way). Explosions In The Sky, la formación pionera en el ámbito del post rock estadounidense, están de vuelta con su primer disco de material original desde la salida de “The Wilderness” (2016) y la banda sonora para el documental "Big Bend: The Wild Frontier of Texas". En este su octavo disco, "End", la banda explora el concepto del final, desde lo que supone la muerte, el fin de una amistad o la ruptura de una relación y es que, como explican, "cada canción se origina a partir de una historia o idea individual que ha cobrado vida para crear su propio universo musical.Quizá es nuestra naturaleza, pero seguimos pensando que el título del álbum está abierto a muchísimas interpretaciones".
