I can attach my own emotions, thoughts, feelings to the music as it flows on. I won't get caught up in the lyrics. This band will forever be my favorite band for that reason. I can close my eyes and transport myself to wherever the music takes me.

It's kind of the climax of the piece, in my opinion. It's an unconventionally quiet and calm, yet still moving climax, but still where the music is going to. Once it gets there at 3:50, it just keeps the groove going until the end.

I gently lie back on the cool slab of rock, and observe. The gentle, sharp breeze cools my head. A wild circlet of stars blanket the clear sky. Each and every star separate and unaware, glistening freely. The wonders and oddities of stars, and other life flow through my head as naturally as the waves upon the sand. As I squint up at them trying to catch one moving or blinking, I feel ageless. Time itself falls into the still night. The lapping waves reach up the beach less and less until they can barely be heard from up here. Then the wind falls below earshot and my surroundings share a rare silence. My skin tingles.

What can I say about Explosions...The song is a masterpiece and so was the one before just recently released. I've grown up with the guys blaring through my headphones and with each year I have an overwhelming respect for the music these gents create. Every album seems to be important. Yet every album I hold close, nostalgia doesn't even come close to how this music impacted my entire life. I am a musician now for several years now, constantly creating and trying to make something of value. I owe Explosions a round or two, they helped me discover my own identity an entire world of sounds

When I first listened to this I only enjoyed the middle part... but then I closed my eyes... And then it's the beginning to 0:52 is when I believe you fall asleep. 0:53 to 1:57 is when you are dreaming. And then 3:50 to the end is when I believe you are about to-and are-waking up...it's crazy because this piece is divided up into parts that at first don't make sense, but then suddenly do. You begin looking forward to the next part, not because you want the song to end, but because you want to see what's next and and how it just all works in such a beautiful way...so at peace right now
@geo_chronick2098 жыл бұрын
I'd have to disagree. I agree that 0:00 - 0:52 is falling asleep, but I feel that 0:53 - 3:50 is an overwhelmingly bad dream and 3:50 to the end is when the dream becomes calm and positive. The name of this piece, Logic of a Dream adds to this as if to say there isn't much logic to dreams and that they can change for better or worse in just moments.
