Really solid episode but starting at 1:01:02 and onward is insane value for anyone in the beginning stages. Thanks Flex and Alex!

First steps Alex Hormozi would take to start a business: 1st 1:03:40 : Set up an LLC on LegalZoom 2nd 1:03:46 : Take the LLC to a bank so they give you a bank account 3rd 1:03:50 : Hook the bank account to stripe or paypal 4th 1:03:56 : Sell to people via a channel (dm, tiktok, etc) 5th : They will give you their card, run it, and then do the thing you said you were going to do in exchange for their money "That is a business" 1:04:09

Class to see a fellow Welshman interviewing Alex. And it's super inspiring to know where Alex was, when James was where he was, to now see where they both are and now sharing a friendship. Its epic. It makes me feel the light at the end of the tunnel and know that catch up is possible. I know I can reach the success I'm yearning for and that the friendships with like-minded individuals will come from that too. Great stuff. I've listened to so many interviews with Alex, trying to absorb as many of his teachings as I can. Huge respect for the work ethic of both men. Thanks for this Jay, much appreciated 🙏

Second time listening to this. Top two observations: Alex=vulnerable and real as usual which you are very consistent at. Your experiences along the way reinforce that I am not alone in a general pattern to success. Flex, the discipline you exemplify in staying silent and absorbing what your guests are saying is WORLD CLASS!! Keep it up!!! It’s awesome to witness 👊🏻

I appreciate so much how Alex has made it a part of his life to be fully accountable for his side of everything even when he has a right to play the victim card. SO MANY Americans need to learn this I’ve taken professional classes about this kind of accountability abd im here to tell everyone that being a victim is a choice no matter what the level abd when you carry yourself as a victim you give the other side abd you give what happened to you power over you no matter how justified you feel being a victim is weakness being a victim is a choice

Alex. Do NOT put it down to luck. From an outsiders perspective we see it's not luck. It may feel like luck but it's a combination of all the micro decisions you made that you may not see but they all stack until those micro and macro decisions build a tower and that tower is when YOU notice it. Well played and I wish you even more success going forward 👌💪

Several times you asked him to slow down “because of your audience”. Don’t use us as scapegoats-that you couldn’t keep up doesn’t mean we couldn’t. And asking him to repeat himself “for us” is a funny request given that we can simply rewind the show if we feel we’ve missed something . . . Sorry to be a bit of a dick, overall I like you and your show a lot (episode you did with Flex Wheeler was great). But if you’re too slow to keep up, just admit it. There’s no shame in that. Lord knows I’m no genius either.

I have to strongly disagree with him on the whole "you're not working out hard enough if you get energy from it". The more energy you expend on my workout and the harder I go at it the better I feel after. I love him, but he has the typical focus on the results and not "love the process" approach that I can't align myself with, and there's a lot of other people out there that shouldn't either
