Trevor Morris---My mother when she was pregnant with me, wanted me to an opera singer. I wanted to be a composer, that gift was up to GOD. My mother would play opera records while I was still in utero at full volume. Well, I had my father's genes, and became an excellent surgeon, with am appreciation for excellent music. However I sing like a crow.

At 5 mins and 55 seconds " The time of which we have no knowledge" Most beautiful piece, i wish it lasted for minutes instead of seconds. "When we compare the present life of man on Earth with that time of which we have no knowledge, it seems to me like a swift flight of a single sparrow through a banquet hall on a winter's day. After a few moments of comfort, he vanishes from sight into the wintry world from which he came. Even so, man appears on Earth for a little while, but of what went before this life or what will follow, we know nothing."

At this time (2019) we know the futur of the specie called homo sapiens sapiens (don't deserve capital letter) that is to say human being specie. We are the only one living creature in the whole world who doesn't respect the first Nature's rule : To adapt to the environment. No. We made, are making and will made it as our caprices, non sense wishes, desire, will and pseudo needs means cutting off ours noses to spite ours faces. So we are endangered and will quickly, very quickly vanish. Serves us right !

Having watched the BBC2 repeat showing of all the series, I am absolutely gob-smacked and moved to tears by how one person can compose such a wealth of hauntingly beautiful misic; but more than that, how the music so perfectly fits with the scenes with which it is used. Trevor Morris is right up there with Ennio Morricone and TangerineDream. Astounding ! Truly astounding ! Has TM won any awards ?

every GOT fan should try this show. I loved this show back in the day. & when GOT happened, it reminded of the tudors. Offocuse its not in "fantasy". Its history, but still, give it a change :)

After all, GoT was heavily inspired by late medieval English history, so it's only natural that they have a lot in common.

This show was a masterpiece. GOT doesn't even hold a bloody candle to it. Real history is where all those fantasy stories come from-- and I say that as a fantasy writer myself! This is the real heart of our world. I hope to always see new series and shows and so forth dedicated not just to fantasy but also REAL history. It is so important we remember what REALLY happened to our ancestors. And I always remember that one great line that the 1st Duke of Suffolk spoke to Henry, once they were older and dying: "Drink some wine, praise the God of all, and let the World be the World!"

The music is superb. "The Tudors" is closer to fantasy than real history, though. Just for starters, the costumes and hairstyles of the characters in this photo are laughable. Particularly hilarious was a scene of Henry jogging on the spot in leather briefs.

I loved every season of the Tudors. Everyone's portrayal of these tragic characters, each tragic in their own way. But I do have to play a but. The 4th season is my least favorite. It felt rushed, and at times you could almost feel that Jon had enough of it. He wanted it to be over.

Of all the actors that have played Henry ( Laughton , Burton , Lewis, Shaw , ) you've got to admit JRM was the best looking if not the most accurate....
@aegonthedragon73032 жыл бұрын
Henry was a figurative rockstar in his younger years, only growing into how history remembers him later on after multiple accidents and possibly from undiagnosed diabetes. By the end of the series they did a decent job at making him look like shit.

I would have kept this music, but cast/costumed the series in a more authentic manner. I also agree that Steven Waddington should have been cast as H VIII.

That is very much of what made Henry, Henry. His golden hair, good looks, broad 6'2" athletic frame. He towered over everyone in every way possible, JRM is 5'9" and fine boned, yes a good actor.

He was in the series Dracula again axed, why is it they axe something good these days, I heard that there has a,ways been problems in production while having the name Dracula Attached to it, so it might be that, also another series that was axed was da.Vinci why again was that axed, brilliant potential only 3 seasons also the nick again brilliant series, two seasons, they said the fans wanted it back and it would be back but I’ve heard nothing since, but so many others were axed and nothing said, yet they fund crap like GOT that’s went downhill after season 5. That was a sad tragedy that we’ve got to bear Star Wars made bad on purpose, Star Trek destroyed, stop having JJ abrams and co doing these projects, especially fan favs

Sometimes JRM's acting looked fake or it was the director's fault. Yes, H8 had malaria, osteomyelitis, diabetes, obesity, brain damage from his jousting accident. With all of these diseases, JRM expresses it with a raspy voice and the occasional cough. SHEESH!!!
