When you export a Raw image to JPEG file , does that JPEG contains the Darktable module's name that you used on that Raw image ? If yes how it can they be exported without those ?

Good day Mr. Stefano, thank you for the informative video. I just want to ask what is the possible solution to my exporting problem, I am having difficulty on viewing my exported images. When I exported an image, the program says that the image is exported in a certain location with a certain name, but when i go to the location where the image is "exported" there in no file or image and the folder is completely blank. again thank you for the video :)

Hi Cyril, thanks for your feedback. Really appreciated. About the export, something similar happened to me when exporting the styles with ver. 3.2.6. It was simply because darktable did not have permissions to write in the default directory/folder. Unfortunately there was no msg about the problem (I understand that release 3.5 gives at least a message for troubleshooting). Have a check if you have the same problem (if in Windows run darktable as Administrator for example) and change the permissions on the export folder. I hope this solve your issue. Cheers

Hello, thanks for your helpful video. I wondered if you could help with a problem I am having exporting JPEG files... I want the long side of portraits and landscapes to be 30cm. At the moment I am entering 30cm on long side with 150dpi but images are coming out at 300dpi and 15cm on long side. I this is the same thing, but are my settings wrong? Thanks in advance

Thanks Hatty for your feedback. I tried to replicate your problem and indeed, the export does not work with 150dpi (I hope I am not missing anything here). A possible workaround is to save at double the pixel width and proceed with upscaling. You may also log the issue into GitHub (github.com/darktable-org/darktable/issues). Cheers

@@StefanoFerro Thank you - I have raised the issue with them. Also tried upscaling but makes the picture size larger than 25mb which is too big! Will let you know if I have any success
