actually i have a black and white video, text is white and black is the background... i use ligthen overlay instead of this green screen.... what should i do to export it that way without using greenscreen method because in overlay tab if i choose lighten it works the same way.

i love what you shared because i did sometthing like this once (for lower thirds) and when i played it i get that codec message and it can't play. so far, you're the only one who explained and clarified that the coded error is not a problem. thanks for this info.

Hmm..? Not sure why that would happen with Quicktime? It shouldn't. What "quality/resolution" was your original file? What did you export is as?

Does Pro Res 4444 make the files lighter? With GoPro CineForm it weighs 11 GB lol. And is there any difference in quality between them ? Thanks.

I've never actually tested to see the file sizes of each one compared. Maybe export a small chunk using each file type and see which one's the smallest. I'm sure it'll be somewhere on KZbin already as well...sorry for not being able to help.

What type of file did you export it as? Some of them will only play once you import it back into premiere, and will not play in some regular video players on your computer...Quicktime for example...

I'm not sure if there is another way...? You'll need to click on your other "FORMATS" and see if you can find a preset that says "WITH ALPHA" Otherwise you'll just have to remove the background (green, black, etc) every time you want to use your assets.

If you have a video/asset with a transparent background, then just import it like any other video and you're good to go. If your video is supposed to have a transparent BG and doesn't, then you need to get rid of that first, then export as the video says. like, this error comes up and stops you from exporting?, or you've exported, tried to watch it and then get this error? either way, I don't really know the answer...it could be your original file type, your frame rate, your sequence settings...etc...???
