I wouldn't say this is a whole mess, it's a divorce and it's sad. This marriage lasted for a while and both had their own set of friends. Bobby's really a good guy and I would say he's one of the most handsome men around. Josh will get jealous at the men who will be trying to date Bobby.

I saw an episode of MDL and it was clear Bobby wanted a family and when he spoke to Josh, Josh was just very dismissive and it appeared he was not interested in meeting in the middle or listening to Bobby's needs. I wondered then why are these 2 together? That was 1 conversation out of years together but if I had to guess based on snippets it seems Josh leads a more lux and what some would deem shallow lifestyle. I think Bobby is a more salt of the earth, family oriented person. Maybe Josh thought he'd want kids later and realized that just isn't him. I think no matter his love for Bobby his comfort comes first and having a new lover goes to that comfort no matter how fresh the break up is. He moved out, so they were having issues before that.... it's probably been over for longer for Josh than Bobby, and definitely longer than we realize.

I think what happened is that Josh Flagg is a "collector.". He collects Fine Art, historical homes, designer clothes ... and he collected Bobby, an extremely handsome young man that Josh wanted in his collection. However, because Bobby wasn't a marble or clay statue work of Art but a "real man" that had opinions and views that Josh rarely agreed with - they clashed. Particularly when you consider that they liked opposite things. Josh like the old and Bobby liked what was modern. So when Bobby got away from overbearing - controlling Josh, he celebrated and went to Disneyland. While Josh, probably still in love with Bobby did the only thing that he knew to do - he used his money to purchase a new home and maybe a new relationship to make Bobby believe that he's was over him and that he had moved on. When the truth is ... he's still in love with Bobby.

It's sad about Josh & Bobby. Sounds as though Josh is in a rebound relationship and where it isn't usually a good thing, it is common. I just hope that this new relationship goes no farther. As Josh could be hurt financially and emotionally if they move too fast. If I remember correctly, Josh & Bobby, mostly Bobby have talked about having a family before they married, it was discussed in this last season as Bobby wanted to buy a place in Palm Springs and have a child. Josh loves to party, Bobby parties but not so much, he seems like a home body. I think Josh may regret this but I don't think he'll ever say so. As far as the Beverly Hills Hotel, Josh tends to be there all the time anyway and loves to get together with people in the Polo Lounge

They were on Heather McDonald's podcast a few weeks before the split announcement and Josh was on his phone pretty much the entirety of the podcast which not only made him look incredibly rude but in hindsight is a bit bizarre to do. What is so important that it couldn't have waited during the podcast that you had to be so disrespectful to your "friend" and text for the entirety of her show that YOU ARE A GUEST ON? That was the first thought that went through my mind when initially watching it. In all honesty, he was a really bad guest because he wasn't present whatsoever but I really came to like Bobby from that podcast, he was fully engaged and respectful to Heather and the audience. I really hope Heather avoids inviting him (Josh) to future podcasts because he clearly has 0 respect for her as well as her podcast. I've never seen a guest on her show act the way he did and in all honesty you could tell it bothered her during the taping as well but she did a great job at trying to hide it.

Also got a feeling Josh loves to flip homes and Bobby loves a forever home. Really enjoy Josh, but in the future be upfront and tell your partner you don’t want children, don’t waste their time. I like Bobby, I like Josh. I loved them as a couple and thought they complimented each other. I think Josh has always made comments about not wanting children and thinking he would not be a good parent. Bobby is a lovely person and perhaps they are at different places. I am sad that they could not work it out. If Josh cheated, and we actually do not know that, that is not cool. Josh was [again] living in the hotel, so who knows how long they have been separated. I wish both of them well and am sad that it did not work out.

I think, like most relationships, you start with a strong attraction and you see red flags but ignore them. I don't think Josh will be having children. It could happen, just like a lot of things are possible, but I wouldn't enter a relationship expecting it. I think their realities finally became a cold hard truth and it eroded their love. I am sure they are both still feeling pain from their breakup. It wasn't just disagreement over children but also that nothing was done to show Bobby as being successful on his own. He was treated like a prop. Josh could have effected a change on MDL but nothing improved, unlike Heather Altman, whose storyline developed to show her as a successful realtor and businesswomen.
