having only used Advantage-loc 2 standing seam as well as standard exposed fastener panels, I can say that standing seam takes so much longer install, especially with the way the trim and closures need installed on some of them. It is a heck of a lot more time and the panels are more expensive but I love the idea of less leak points.

Do you find that an exposed fastener roof could last longer than standard shingle roofs? I need a new roof and am considering a diy exposed fastener roof. Do you have any recommendations on what companies make the best quality panels for exposed fastener?
