You could use Hazel to clear out the C1 session trash. And, just as passing interest to one of the other points you raised, on where the camera industry is going to survive. Less than half of Nikon's income comes from their imaging products division, but it's still the largest single source of income. The rest comes from sales of industrial precision equipment, healthcare equipment, electronic components, and industrial meteorological equipment. Nikon have always (at least in my living memory) had this industrial side in addition to the "camera business" we associate with them, but they have been expanding it over recent years. Nikon have also recently dropped their company maximum salary rule to allow them to attract top end programmers aimed at improving their camera software capability. I'm not sure if this extends to processing software and their Snapchat app. I don't use the latter, but it's always had dire reviews, until recently, when it has begun to get very good reviews.
