I met Gary Oldman. I can’t even remember what year it was. He was at a concert. My friend was in one of the bands. No photos because cell phones with cameras weren’t a thing back then. I didn’t take a camera, I was just going to see my friend perform. (He knew how much I loved Gary Oldman. I guess my friend asked permission because it seemed like he expected me.) My friend was like I want you to meet someone very special, come with me. I just froze when I saw him. I honestly didn’t know what to say. I have social anxiety anyway. Then I just babbled. I told him that Immortal Beloved is one one my favorites because my dad is a band director and classical music was such an important part of my life. His performance was “devastatingly beautiful”. I’m still so embarrassed about it. But still glad I got to meet him. He was such a gentleman, very quiet, polite and gracious.

OMG, my experience with Britney was almost the same. Lots of don’ts from the security team, but actually in my case it was a little bit different. She noticed that I speak English and started a small talk asking me what song I was most excited to see on the show, she remembered she had one of the biggest crowd on her Oops tour here and asked me what was my favorite song of hers, I said Autumn Goodbye and she looked puzzled. I thought she didn’t remember recording this song or something. Then she asked her assistant if Brazil got that version of the album, she replied no and then I explained to her that I bought in Australia when I went there on vacation, but I also had the Brazilian version. She smiled and said “I get it now”. I never thought she would hold a conversation with me, not in a million years. My impression of her was that she is indeed very shy, if you don’t pay attention you can hardly hear her as she speaks very softly. But I noticed the fan behind me was very agitated and when interacting with him, she seemed a little scared (IDK). I confess it was hard to keep my cool but in the end it payed it off. The poor guy behind me crying just took the photo (sobbing) and left, with almost no interaction with her. But till this day I’m trying to understand her reaction with him. It was almost like she was as uncomfortable as the dude was making a scene. He was not violent or anything, he was just very emotional and excited at the same time, who knows what triggered that reaction on her?

I've met a few celebrities, but the best (or actually most unique) one is actually "meeting" Taylor in 2010. I say that it's unique because all I have to show for that experience is her autograph, that I got just because I was the tallest among the people there and just... went for it, reached over everyone else and got it, because she was out for like, less than a minute. Ok, picture this: it's 2010, you are an Italian high-schooler that literally learned English through Taylor's first 2 albums and a friend of yours, the only other person you know of that speaks English well enough to enjoy Taylor's lyrics, asks you to please go with her to Milan (4 hour drive from where I lived) because Taylor will be at the X Factor Italy studios to promote Mine. So we plan, we skip school, we go there and there's literally less than 30 people there. NO ONE in Italy has any idea who she is and it's just us. She was not expecting any fans to be there so I guess we have to thank the security guard that maybe let her know that there were people outside. Anyway, she comes out and she was SO SURPRISED. I will never forget her face 🤣. She was out for like two minutes and couldn't believe that she had fans here. FYI. On July 13th the eras tour will be coming to Milan. First time she sets foot here IN 13 YEARS. And guess who doesn't have tickets? Me.e.EH!

I love Avril, and I feel terrible that she got Lyme disease, but I feel like that near death experience really changed her perspective on her fans. Like I feel like it took all her so called close famous friends to leave her when she was bed-ridden and notice how her fans were the ones still there. Sorry for the traumatic experience there. The one that shocked me the most was Demi, because I’ve heard pretty good things outside of “delete it fat”, maybe it was an off day there. And I’m definitely not surprised Taylor is the best with her fans because duh.

It's completely fine if celebrities doesn't want to interact with their fans on their free time. They deserve some space. But when it's advertised as Meet&Greet and people pay money for it (it's not a raffle or anything), you better give them what they paid for. (It would be fine if it's already mentioned that Meet&Greet means no interactions with celebrities only a photo with them, but then most people wouldn't pay extra for basically no extra benefit). As a person that used to work in venues, the ones who left me stunned were BTS. Their whole team are so respectful and while I had no actual one-on-one interaction with members themselves, they still seemed to give the best version of themselves no matter how shitty their day might be. Professional and polite on another level.

I met Sarah Jessica Parker during a SJP store opening. I loved Hocus Pocus as a kid, and SATC defined my 20’s. She couldn’t have been sweeter. We did a gag photo and I got down on my knees like Big and “proposed” with my Manolo. I hate that I was overweight in the photo, but whatever. It was unforgettable.

When I was 14 my best friend and I accidentally walked up to John Stamos taking a picture with Pluto at Disneyland. I screamed, “Jessie!” He told my friend and I to hurry quick and get in the picture with him. We got on either side of him and Pluto and another random family jumped in around us. It was incredible haha. Then my sister lost my camera with the picture on it 😢

i loved marina during the the family jewels and electra heart eras. i knew a lot of people who loved froot, but personally i felt like it was kind of a flop. however, she seems like such a sweet person and i'm glad you had a pleasant interaction!

Meeting celebrities is fun! can't say I've ever had that much confidence for some of the ways you went about it though haha. The most famous one I've met is probably Troye Sivan. He was the sweetest.

The year both Britney and Demi were judges on X-Factor, the show came to my city for auditions and as part of a fundraising event for the debate team I went (apparently schools get special deals where they’re paid to go…? IDK, I just went to see Demi & Britney in person). Me and my friends were right on the red carpet they had rolled out for the celebrity judges and Demi I think was first. They looked really uncomfortable pretty much the whole day. Britney on the other was a such a sweetheart. My friend asked for an autograph and Britney got really bashful and asked if she had a pen. Someone handed her a sharpie and she signed a bunch of stuff. I didn’t have anything for her to sign except for my ticket to the event… so that’s what I got signed. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We had an issue where another group of people were sitting in our seats, and I showed security/the ushers my ticket so we could sit were we supposed to. The person that looked at my ticket and couldn’t figure out what the signature on my ticket was. I didn’t want to tell them Britney signed it so I just shrugged 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 (Fundraising event, remember. For whatever reason our tickets were spilt in different sections, I think all of the fundraising groups were like that. So the people sitting in our section were with the row of seats behind us. I guess they thought that everyone would just sit with their groups??)

Such a good video! I’ve only recently come across your channel but I can’t wait to see more from you!! I’ve never met any celebs but I went to Taylor Swift’s reputation tour and Billie Eilish’s happier than ever tour. They were both just the absolute sweetest and so grateful and kind towards their fans which i think is so important! We love artists and celebs that have amazing music but are also just good people.
