With these uncertain economic conditions and heightened tensions, I think i'm ready for a more risky investment so I won't lose my savings to inflation. I'm going to just reallocate my $800K portfolio into stocks and other high yield investments

Accurate asset allocation is crucial with an Experts guidance. I have 850k in equity, 275 cash earning 5.25 interest, 685k in 401k, 120k cash account, 80k in car assets ( paid off cars) Gold and silver bars. age is 48. My advisor helped me realign my portfolio to my risk tolerance and it boomed shortly.

The FED knows. They aren't committed to attacking inflation. They are going to continue to inflate, stocks and commodities will continue to go up with everything else. You can't just sit on cash waiting for a crash, get your money working for you, start buying in slowly and then gradually increase the pace of buying as the prices continue to drop.

It's a fact that recessions are a natural occurrence in the economic cycle, and the best approach is to ensure you're ready for them and have a proper plan in place. As someone who entered the workforce during a recession (2009), I experienced the direct effects of inflation and discovered the importance of generating increased passive income to counter it.

Experienced long-term investors are aware that the market and economy have a tendency to bounce back over time, and it's wise for investors to be prepared for such a recovery. Speaking from my own experience, I continue to invest heavily in this volatile market and have achieved significant gains - my portfolio is presently up by 60%. For now, I'll keep a watchful eye on the situation and gradually invest in more stocks as opportunities arise.

I foresee a recession lasting 2-3 years, and if inflation continues to surge, the Federal Reserve will likely raise interest rates soon. Inflation is causing various issues worldwide, such as food shortages, scarcities of diesel and heating fuel, and significant spikes in housing prices, leading to a potential financial market crash. This global downturn could have long-lasting repercussions. Given the current inflation rate of approximately 9%, my main worry is how to optimize my savings and retirement fund, which has remained stagnant at around $300,000, yielding almost no gains for quite some time.

Numerous opportunities exist to achieve substantial profits at present, but executing high-volume and nearly flawless trades requires the expertise of real-time professionals with an ISDA Agreement. This agreement allows investors to participate in sophisticated trades, exclusive to seasoned individuals, and unavailable to amateurs. Attempting to be a high-stakes trader without an ISDA is akin to trying to win the Indy 500 riding a llama.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Their guess on the chance of rate hikes is hilarious. 93% in Decemeber? I remember when it was almost 100% for March 2023.

The FED lowered its inflation objective to less than 2% in 2012. They changed the target to a long-term average of 2% inflation. Because long-term interest rates are set at inflation plus a profit margin, the implication is lower interest rates. I consider the current rising interest rate to be a very serious issue it will cause more investors to withdraw from the market. But then despite the severe bear market, I am aware of certain investors that continue to earn over $365,000. Wish I could accomplish that.

I totally agree, it's been three years and counting, and I've made over 1.7 million by simply following a coach's advice. I was on the sidelines for a while watching, trying to determine the best time to get in, before I came across a coach, recommended by my wife. I was reluctant at first but I went ahead and contacted the coach. As a small reward for my consistency, I went on a trip to the Bahamas in the late summer.

Peter is actually right. If the FED really wants to bring down inflation as soon as possible they should have increased rates but since we have factors in the economy that are hurting right now aside they will eventually cut rates to sacrifice inflation

I've struggled trying to understand the Fed's discussion for dropping the rates. I think they will do it for political reasons. And inflation will blast off. They know it, but they also know it will happen after the election.

PS is correct about his definition of Inflation. A rise in price was NOT the original definition, and that definition does not work if you're actually trying to understand the economy and how things work. Price is DISCOVERED, and the way prices rise and fall depends on multiple factors, and it's not governed by wishful-thinking targets of the FED or the greed of businesses. Inflating the money supply IS the root of the problem, but the unsaid TITPB (something floating in the punchbowl) is the race to the bottom in the value (i.e. there IS no stable value) of the currency. The abandonment of ANY tangible definition to the dollar since Nixon pulled US off the gold standard and closed the window and the growth of the money supply have been hand in glove, and so the debt has grown catastrophically in the last +50 years. Debt finance has allowed the Federal government to expand its size, reach, and dominance in every aspect of society, and monetary inflation has rotted out our industry, sky-rocketed housing, created hordes of paper billionaires and millions of millionaires while creating a widening wealth gap, made the business government cabal ever more intrusive and inefficient, and WILL end badly.

I believe that diversifying investments is the safest approach. They can reduce the impact of a market downturn by diversifying their investments across asset classes like bonds, real estate, and international stocks. It is critical to seek the opinion of an expert.
