Before 1913 we did not have Taxation. Before 1913 the US government was limited in the amount of paper money in circulation based on how much gold and silver the US government held physically in bullion in reserve. Before 1913 the US Gov. had to sell bonds to finance any spending they wanted to do. But in 1913 congress passed the Federal Reserve Act. They did so over Christmas break with only a handful of members present to vote. This created a central bank in the united states. Privately owned, the bank would print money using ink and paper and loan it (at interest) to the US government. This was the beginning of the story of how the everyday American Citizen was sold slowly into complete slavery. Before the central bank the government did not have the freedom to spend freely because the money comes from the People. The government has no money of its own and produces nothing of value. The central bank gave the government a blank check in which it could circumvent the People and also the reserves of precious metals. What did the central bank want in return? They asked to be paid in the physical gold and silver in exchange for their paper money. The US government readily agreed. It did not take long for the government to hand ALL of our gold and silver over to these bankers. At which time the government readily agreed to continue paying the growing "debt" by placing each and every American(born and unborn) in perpetuity, as collateral. Also, America had never been involved in a foreign war before this point. Just take a look at American imperialism and involvement in foreign conflict from this point forward. And for those of you who would criticize my statement over Pearl Harbor, the US foreign intelligence service had broken the Japanese naval codes weeks before the attack and had full knowledge of it. It was allowed by F.D.R. who desperately wanted to join the war despite the overwhelming majority of Americans being against it. They know it’s happening and blah blah blah, but until it hits their neighborhood including hospitals schools etc in mostly affluent white neighborhoods nothing will get done.
