I re-investigate some of the miraculous claims of Miracle Faith Global Apostolic Church and am horrified with stories from members who used to attend. I attend the church in person along with my friend Andy who has Cerebral Palsy.

Remember Christ said that the people often do not know what manner of spirit they are acting from and they could be of their father the Adversary. My friend, I am somewhat confusedl, why would you recommend the Roman Catholic church if officially they denounce faith alone , in Christ alone, by grace alone , and say that those who believe so are "anathema", or condemned to hell for believing so. Oficially, the Catholics teach that Christ's work on the cross is unfinished and a believer has no certain hope of heaven or complete forgiveness for eternity. Jesus said in regards to His work, "it is finished." The Catholics say that it is not finished and you must finish your own suffering for sin in purgatory. The scriptue says in Heb 10:14 that by the one offering of the cross, Christ has made us perfect FOREVER.

Some of us have bible studies together and some prefer not to but we ALL get along and help each other in times of need. That’s the way it should be. What a peaceful area to live. I own a local hvac company and several years ago I ran a service call at their home off of Scenic Hwy. There was a yellow Maserati in the driveway and a huge walk in closet with several hundred pairs of shoes alot of them very expensive Italian brands. I drove down Palafox almost every morning to commute to work, passing by that church on the way And every single time I looked over my shoulder as I passed the church, I would always feel an eerie and sinister vibe. Pensacola is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most churches in one city… with that being said their are other deceitful and manipulative churches in the city and surrounding area. I've come from a broken church situation myself and that church behaved a LOT like this church, and reading through the Cult Checklist that you put up, that church ticked a LOT of the boxes, unfortunately. So, it's a GOOD thing that I'm out now, but still painful to think about it. I really appreciate all the points you made about the church, and that you went to the extent of 1) attending a service, and 2) interviewing former members, because as evil as manipulative churches like this are, nothing beats first-hand experience of ACTUALLY being there and talking to actual members. I find it really interesting that I came across this video. I live in Pensacola. I knew nothing about this church except I drive by it fairly often. First of all it is gigantic!! Lauren Stephens lol nope. I lived in Pensacola for about 6 years and attended this church. The congregation has been widdeling away slowly but surly. It got to the point where I would go to a meeting and there were maybe 20 other people there. They made an insurance claim on the building because the roof was damaged but they used the money for themselves and never took care of the roof so the congregation was outside in a tent for about 2 years. Then they were getting sued for insurance fraud. They owe SO much money to a bunch of people in Pensacola. I was there when this was all going on. So glad I got out!

I have dealings with that church, in a way. Many years ago, I drove my girlfriend to the other side of the state to meet with her family so that they could attend a sermon there. I got a gut feeling to not go in... I circled the HUGE parking lot for almost 3 hours waiting for it to be over. Later that night, unbeknownst to me, until I heard a noise outside the guest room and opened the door, I found the entire family..... The entire family.... Dad, Mom, my girlfriend, her 3 sisters and 2 brothers, trying to exercise Satan from my soul and they're home. She went back to jail for prostitution and crack possession 3 months later. Guess the church didn't fix the problem. BTW, I'm a Christian and and ordained minister. God is in my heart and my heart and soul will always be with the Lord. Very nasty people there.

To anyone who is looking for a church home, Momentum Church is great! Its been my church home for several years now and it's great. I know plenty of churches other than this one that are amazing. What my wife and I do is meet together in our home. Sometimes other people come, but mostly these days it's just us and Jesus. We do stay in contact with many other Christians and continue to pray and fellowship with them. We consider all the Christians in the place where we live to be the Church in that city (town/ locality). So we intentionally stay open to fellowship with them. We realize there is a problem with man-made religious groups and pray for them continually. Thank you, brother, for sharing and your stated good intentions. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing (see Acts 20:29-30). Please keep up with your work in the Lord; and may He (Jesus) continue his blessing of you and your work.
