Trump did terrify the magats to the point that they do believe he's the only one who can fix it. He started with mexicans in his first campaign speech and didn't let up for 9 years. Magats are so thoroughly terrorized that they will keep clinging to him until they understand what he did to them.

There is a very wise saying in Bengali language and it reads like this: 'The bamboo cane is stronger than the bamboo itself' (In bengali: 'Basher theke konchi boro') Meaning the one on the side of power has more power than the one in power. It can also be sarcastically used to mean :The weak and non visible person on the fringe of power is behaving more powerful than the real one.

On getting a broader information sample. I agree. Some of the claims floating around out there are outlandish and very insulting, but the shock value only lasts a short time. Since I've heard these awful things, I'm not triggered to be reactive and start a shouting match. Well, maybe. I'm no angel, I still get angry. I want to reestablish my relationship with my son and his family and I had an employee quit & walk out on me.
