I have heard he is so nice too. I have never heard any stories that he's mean or problematic. I feel so sorry for him and the pressures he was put under. Especially when it comes to physical appearance. Men deal with it too in Hollywood. He's most likely using substances to heal emotional pain that he has endured in this industry. It kinda irks me that everyone assumes (we all know what assuming does, “makes an Ass out of U & Me!”) that all child actors were pushed by their parents! FAR FROM THE TRUTH! I know many kids whose parents (I am one of those parents) try like hell to talk their kids out of the craft until they were adults. I know many kids from John Pallotta’s acting class, who at 3 & 4 years old, knew they wanted to be artists. My daughter told us at 3! I begged her to be a kid & she said “How am I supposed to make my dreams come true if I worry about playing” 🤦🏻‍♀️ Now, with that said… a majority of those kids we’ve met over the years were forced or at least led that way. My ex-husband wasn’t even a stage dad, but he’s the one who convinced me to let my daughter act. He seen her passion first. Now she’s 18 & focusing on behind the scenes which makes me happy. I know the entertainment industry is too predatory for children, but trust & believe there are some amazing souls we’ve met through the industry. But I just hope people out there start taking a sec to consciously think “Not all child actors were pushed”! My one friend, another mother of a child actor, had to be pushed to even allow her son to act. My daughter called me from school saying “My friend Amari is so talented but his mom won’t let him act. You have to call her & make her let him” 😂 Eventually, we became friends & she now sees, it’s not all horror stories & now her son is staring in a new show about to come out & he’s in college & she, like me & many other moms I know have NEVER taken a penny from our children. My deal with my daughter, when she offered to pay for tolls to NY for an audition one day was, “I won’t take a penny from you as long as when I’m old & decrepit 😂, you take care of me & change my diapers like I changed yours “. Now she says she will hire someone to change my diapers, but I always remind her, that wasn’t the deal ha ha. Sending everyone positive vibes ❤

I'm a recovering heroin addict. I'm a really really good person. I'm a nice person and I work really hard. I have a good job just paid off my car just got my own apartment for the first time since 2013... I am not a bad person I just have a ton of trauma and I feel the same for Zac. Being a child actor is really traumatic for a lot of these celebs.. He's not a bad person for being an addict and partying. I'm happy to see that he appears to be happy and healthy 🧡

For the people who think "well why can't Zac stop doing drugs and alcohol?." Coming from someone who did drugs and alcohol as a teen- 20s, I'm gonna describe it like this, it's like Candy. You know Candy is bad for you but at the same time you don't care. You want it because of how good it is. You're happy when you eat that candy or chocolate 🍫. It was the same for me when I was doing them and once you're hooked on them. You're hooked, it gets harder and harder to get away from drugs and alcohol. Anyways long story Luckily for me I have a strong support system and I've been clean for almost a decade. I hope Zac is getting the help he needs.

I had a brief moment for about almost 2 years that I stopped everything except weed and then I started just drinking again and was drinking way too much. I still struggle today. Please don’t mix medical terminology like that. There’s a reason why the two are not synonymous. There are some who may argue it could be a brain disease. But most mental health conditions are disorders. A disease is when all populations afflicted have the SAME EXACT underlying cause or reason as to why they have a physiological illness. I.e your immune system attacking your hair follicles is categorized as alopecia areata. A disorder is a collection of symptoms, but we aren’t particularly sure why one person has it and the other person doesn’t. I.e, addiction, OCD, etc. Addiction can result in brain disease, but that in and of itself being a brain disease is questionable. It’s a brain disorder not disease. I think he’s a really good guy but struggles with fame and image. In his interviews he comes across very shy and awkward. There’s a fitness KZbinr that also made a video it goes into how he could also be on anabolic steroids or growth hormones because a side effects of both are people’s heads growing, added tissue developing on their faces, and skin rapidly looking aged. Most of his changes happened after his baywatch role not directly after his injury. I think producers and studios definitely pressure male stars to use these performance enhancing drugs to look a certain way in a short period of time and they can become addicting.

i just wanna say something here - coke activates the happy part of your brain. most severely depressed people turn to coke or other uppers to stabilize the serotonin receptors in their brain. being an alcoholic as well, actively being drunk does stimulate one’s dopamine receptors, but ultimately alcohol is a depressant once that lil drunk high wears off. him becoming a coke addict just means he was so very depressed. i feel for him and all child stars who have been through the wringer. god bless those poor sweet souls.

I'm over 30, had braces when I was about 34, and it was only to correct the angle of my teeth, not to move then, and my cheek bones became more prominent - like a lot. And before that, they were not noticeable. And it was only braces, no needles or knives.

There might also be some tissue scarring around his masseter muscles from the accident and from the surgeries trying to correct his jaw placement over the years (you can see in the early stages post injury his jaw was not proportionate and leant to one side more). I can see he'd likely need corrective surgeries here and there for something so damaging, plus the physical therapy to retrain your muscles can definitely alter how someone used to function. He could've been dead instead of looking this way so maybe we should just be happy knowing that.

I feel for him I used to have the same exact drug problem, coke Molly and ecstasy were my drugs of choice, my addiction made me someone I hated now that I look back on that time I’ve been sober for almost 7 years now. Those drugs will make you violent out of no where I’ve been in a lot of verbal and physical altercations while using, with strangers and people close to me. I hope he’s doing okay now, child actors always seem to turn to substance abuse it’s heartbreaking.

The last movie I've seen him in was Beach Bum. Sorry long comment & getting into some personal stuff, but I found you're channel a few months ago & subscribed. In 2018 I was hit by a car & in the hospital for a few weeks, it broke vertebra in my neck, cracked my skull & de-gloved my scalp, cracked my right shoulder blade almost in half, broke my left leg & shattered my ankle, so now I can't work or get out that much, so I get lonely & bored had to move back in with my parents & we just have Direct TV & there's never anything on so I just watch KZbin on my Xbox, but talking to my therapist, my medication, weed & you're videos help with my loneliness & boredom & I just wanted to say thank you for that
