Millennial here, I am not ashamed of the Gospel and I understand it is a stumbling block to the Jews and an offence to the gentiles. I'm one of the Millennials who goes against the grain because of what Christ has done for me on the cross. There is absolute truth and that is the truth of God's word. @@1exkyman In the material world? No. Your preferred version of invisible supernatural superbeeing isn't verifiable in the "material" world. And some fables puzzled together in a "book" which has been edited, revised, translated and is interpreted so differently that hundreds of ridiculous denominations are now arguing who interprets their invisible supernatural superbeeing "correctly" is not evidence. Truth does obviously "offend" or you guys would accept Evolutionary theory and the fact that Christian tribal god is just one of 4500+ man made, anthropomorphic fabrications of a God. A man born by a virgin. Resurrection from death....then ascension to the invisible supernatural heaven to become a invisible supernatural superbeeing that intelligent designed the female birth canal too narrow causing millions of natural spontaneous abortions...atavism like monkey tails on certain humans, Klinefelter's syndrome and Cancer. I really wished you guys would become adults and see the incredible crime done to you religious individuals by these preaching charlatans... Luckily Christianity is dying in the US. The non religious will soon overtake the numbers of religious individuals. Maybe one day we can look back at Christianity as a interesting philosophy without it being actually considered anything else....that goes for all man made religions. It's always helpful to know that someone like you is thinking of this thing. So awesome how our God works.

I have a question 🙋🏼♀️Are women allowed to defend the faith by practicing apologetics ?
@TruthEvangelism8 ай бұрын
Yes. Just like a woman can proclaim the gospel to an unbelieving man outside of corporate worship. But if we look at the first Timothy passage, the context is authoritative headship within corporate worship, so preaching and teaching over men who by Gods design are the spiritual and authoritative heads over their wives. Other context will speak to marriage headship as well, but anyone can evangelize and defend the faith. Again complementarian view does not de value women, but rather recognizes that God had created us same value but different roles, to complement one another.
@kendraborczuch-kitts89358 ай бұрын
@@TruthEvangelism thank you for that clear and concise explanation. Oh, I’ve listened to Voddie Baucham enough to know, woman are never less than. We carry a very important role. Voddie has helped me; unlearn and replace countless years of ALL twisted theology, false doctrine, backed up with accurate scripture and contextual meaning, in accordance with a biblical view in Gods design, of natural order. Is that not an idol on the wall behind Mr. Baucham? He is right, though I don't understand the use of the word 'apologetics'. What he describes is simple Gospel preaching. We don't need to use labels the Scripture doesn't use, I don't think. Just defend the Gospel like the Apostles teach us to do. Preach it. Don't apologize for it, don't compromise on it, deliver not your message, wresting it to be palatable, don't worry about the palatbility of it, don't think it's your job to save someone. Just deliver the message and if the soul is Christ's the Spirit will do His work on them through those words. Defend the one single Truth and don't get wrapped up in trying to compartmentalize doing what Christ told us to do with man-made labels.

You do know that this is what Voddie Baucham stands for and follows. It is no secret that he is 100% a 5-Point Calvinist. Is the following who you see as a teacher of Gods word? He couches his words as not to offend, as Calvin's cutting words do. But make no mistake, ask him in private and he will tell you yes, that is the way it is! God arranges all things by his sovereign counsel, in such a way that individuals are born, who are doomed from the womb to certain death and are to glorify him by their destruction.( John Calvin Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 23, Paragraph 6) “…salvation is freely offered to some while others are barred from access to it.” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 21, Paragraph 5) “We call predestination God’s eternal decree, by which he compacted with himself what he willed to become of each man. For all are not created in equal condition; rather, eternal life is fore-ordained for some, eternal damnation for others.” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 21, Paragraph 5) Now a quote from another promoter of Reformed Calvinism. John Piper: " God . . . brings about all things in accordance with his will. In other words, it isn’t just that God manages to turn the evil aspects of our world to good for those who love him; it is rather that he himself brings about these evil aspects for his glory (see Ex. 9:13-16; John 9:3) and his people’s good (see Heb. 12:3-11; James 1:2-4). This includes-as incredible and as unacceptable as it may currently seem-God’s having even brought about the Nazis’ brutality at Birkenau and Auschwitz as well as the terrible killings of Dennis Rader and even the sexual abuse of a young child . . . Make no mistake the following false teacher follow the same thinking. Some are afraid to say it but it is part of the Calvinist package. Unfortunately, I see only Calvinists in your video line up. Are you open to dialogue over it being an extra biblical theology? No problem if not... God is not willing that any should perish, He desires all men everywhere to repent, Hell was prepared for the Devil & his Angels...not my Grandkids. The scriptures say/state/declare God wants them saved so badly, He sent His Son to redeem/atone for their sins, that they haven't been arbitrarily preordaining/predestined to Hell, nor have they been randomly chosen to be irresistibly coerced into turning to Christ.

Here's my problem with the "wrong Jesus." How well can Christ catch? You're playing football but not good. You throw the ball poorly and it's going to be intercepted. Can Christ still catch it? He gave a great example, you mean the white guy? No, different guy! But then realized you didn't even know how light or dark Christ was in life. The guy that likes chocolate chip cookies? No my guy likes oatmeal! Oh, must be a different guy! Or is it the same guy and we can worship together and help each other understand him more. Here is a quote from CS Lewis's book the last battle. Long but worth it. Then I fell at his feet and thought, Surely this is the hour of death, for the Lion (who is worthy of all honour) will know that I have served Tash all my days and not him. Nevertheless, it is better to see the Lion and die than to be Tisroc of the world and live and not to have seen him. But the Glorious One bent down his golden head and touched my forehead with his tongue and said, Son, thou art welcome. But I said, Alas Lord, I am no son of thine but the servant of Tash. He answered, Child, all the service thou hast done to Tash, I account as service done to me. Then by reasons of my great desire for wisdom and understanding, I overcame my fear and questioned the Glorious One and said, Lord, is it then true, as the Ape said, that thou and Tash are one? The Lion growled so that the earth shook (but his wrath was not against me) and said, It is false. Not because he and I are one, but because we are opposites, I take to me the services which thou hast done to him. For I and he are of such different kinds that no service which is vile can be done to me, and none which is not vile can be done to him. Therefore if any man swear by Tash and keep his oath for the oath’s sake, it is by me that he has truly sworn, though he know it not, and it is I who reward him. And if any man do a cruelty in my name, then, though he says the name Aslan, it is Tash whom he serves and by Tash his deed is accepted. Dost thou understand, Child? I said, Lord, though knowest how much I understand. But I said also (for the truth constrained me), Yet I have been seeking Tash all my days. Beloved, said the Glorious One, unless thy desire had been for me thou wouldst not have sought so long and so truly. For all find what they truly seek.
