A simple fix in the new testament for that is you are a slave for christ and work for him at every job you go to 😊 if I'm not obedient towards my bosses the lord rebukes me lol but their is work in faith and just common work, works of faith are always to glorify God, you honor God with your daily work. So either way you're passively submitting to God's will and active in his will. Once saved always saved is what prevents me from getting that fear, but fear of losing your salvation is a good thing it means you don't want to seperate from god. The lord tested me I got rebuked and had to journey in the spirit through hell but Jesus stopped me and said "if this was your final destination what would you do?" I just said "I'd still serve you and love you." And I found out he showed me that place to help deliver my cousin from demonic harassment and a same sex attraction. Just remember God adopted you, he's patient with us and he will always choose us we owe it to him to always choose him ❤.

I am the the old son with my dad he was mean and I did everything he ask of me, he hollered at me all day and night. I was submissive to him, he thought me how to be a servant. In the end he was dying my wife brought him back to life, told my wife i was no good for her, then said he love her. He took me out of the will which I was fine with! I was the one on his death bed praying for him to repent in Jesus! I forgive him. What you did was show how I was the older son! I knew in my spirit there was something to this old son couldn't understand till today! Thank you for blessing my wife and I with this sermon. Be healed in Jesus names we pray!

Every sermon by Voddie opens up an area of sin in my life. Am soo guilty of big brother’s sin in the worst ways. Am always complaining of why dint God give me same skills and abilities like others such as creativity, artistic abilities or ability to learn quickly, these things hv bn so paralyzing for me to a point where I don’t want to do anything. Am crying right now. Everything feels soo hopeless and pointless. Then I hear of other’s struggles with sickness or other bigger issues and mine look pale by comparison. I pray that God will continue to strengthen Voddie to preach these truths and that many people will be helped thru them

I remember a story someone told me once that was so poignant: there was a man that was so weary carrying his cross, so he went to the church. He met the pastor and told him, "my cross is so heavy can I trade mine for another that is easier to carry?" The pastor took his cross and told the man to follow him to a room. In the room was hundreds of crosses of varied sizes and said, "pick any cross you'd like to trade." The man walked around and found one he thought looked easy to carry and said, "I'll take this one." "Are you sure?", asked the pastor. "Yes.", said the man. The pastor smiled and the man was confused, "why do you smile?" The pastor said, "that is the cross you came here with. Compared to others' problems, yours is not so heavy. Go and live well." The man left feeling surprised and glad knowing his life was better than he thought. I hope that anybody reading this is blessed by it, because if you live by comparing you'll never be satisfied. God bless you. Thank you, Pastor Voddie for teaching us.

THE PRODIGAL FATHER My father’s voice booms around the house. His heavy ring is on my thin finger. His oversized coat covers my shame and upon it his warmth and scents still linger. The taste of pig pods are on my tongue - a reminder of when I was at my least - but soon it will be washed away with wine and the fattened calf of my father’s feast. I see his servants rushing to prepare and recall my resolve to be one of them, but he refused to accept my works; he called me ‘found’ and would not condemn. I am his son and forever will be; and forever remember … He ran out to me. Jason Horsler bless you all

Years ago, I saw that I was like the elder brother. I tried to be more like the prodigal, but I am so arrogant. I prayed that God would make me more like the prodigal than the older brother. That prayer and others like it years ago have taught me who I am. I have been in psychologist offices since I was 14, 41 years ago. I call the thought life between psychology and religion no-man's-land. The resulting confusion has caused me not to easily subscribe to anything I hear. I am 55 now. If I had kids, I would encourage them not to believe that the way to God is simple or easy. Study Matthew 7. The gate is narrow and the way hard. If it starts to seem easy or comfortable, look carefully to find what God has in mind to teach you. Lately I have been trying to quit bragging. I need to share what I learn with Jesus alone most of the time. That is really hard.

first Pastor i've heard that has put the emphasis in these passages where they belong- on us, and our propensity to see other people as the problem, and to be completely un-compassionate towards the "real" sinners...convicting message...

I hate that my Children wasn't raised with a Church. I was raised Mormon I left the church when I was 16..so for a little while I wondered if there was really a God..I know now about the gospel, but my kids don't want to hear it right now. So I pray for them and maybe God will send someone who they will listen too.
