Exposure Lights - Understand OMS.mov

Hi the one question I have about OMS - is What is the reasoning for the different programs within OMS. Yes I know different Programs give different Burn times, but when you created this functionality. What was your reasoning for having several program options. For example do you recommend P 1 - 3 for commuting in towns and maybe with the occasional country road, is P 6 - 7 for out & out dark lane riding. We recommend P 4 - 5 for a training ride along a mixture of differently lit roads. I've looked all over and the only thing your OMS Tutorial says is "when you have decided which program you want" - but for what !!! with out any recommendations or reasoning as to why there are several programs, you might as well just have two and keep it simple. Apart from that. the lights are superb.
