Whoever put this video together completely missed about 50% of Iran that is not located in the arid desert areas shown in the video. Example of missed states: Kurdestan, Gilan, Mazandaran, Khorasan. Sistan, Baluchestan, Azerbaijan, Khuzestan...... Iran has about 2800 kilometers of beautiful coastlines (none were shown). Iran has beautiful mountainous areas some with ski accommodations (none were shown). I guess if you want to perpetuate a stereo typical view of Iran (from a Western perspective) this video will suffice. I give a grade D to this video, as it is incomplete and unfocused and somewhat a misleading view of Iran.

The background music in this documentary was too loud and intrusive. But this is a splendid survey of Iranian architectural heritage. The people of Iran are extremely friendly, hospitable and generous. The food is amazingly delicious and original. The classical poetry and literature of Iran is second to none. It produced Ferdowsi, Saadi, Hafez, Omar Khayyam and a host of others who have enriched countless lives and influenced other languages and literatures over the centuries. The bazars are bursting at the seams with amazing handicrafts, carved metal work, unparalleled carpets. clothing, jewelry and fabrics. The country's music and art and its history is amazingly deep. However it would have been immensely better without the Islamic Revolution which has suppressed the natural genius of the people for too long and isolated it from the rest of the world greatly.

It says Iran the country of desert mosque and palaces, we have coast lines, jungles and lush lands, plus some wrong information like the Milad tower is 100m taller than the mentioned hight, and it's not king kirus, it's Cyrus or kurosh, but still thanks for making this video
