Focusing on the visions and views of three emerging First Nations artists, Expressions of Aboriginal Youth explores the role film plays in helping Native youth tell their stories, recover their culture and develop their voices.
This film was created as a part of the Peer Perspectives Program in 2003. The program provided a safe space for youth to explore the multiple layers of oppressions, which led to the creation of a series of videos that focused on various forms of discrimination (with an emphasis on racism and homophobia). © Access to Media Education Society.
