I love the simple explanation to expressive drawing here. I am a k-8 art teacher. I can see how all of the approaches to drawing could become a lesson in my classroom. Especially blind-drawing... fun! I am going to use these ideas to help students understand abstract and expressive art... I have also gained a new perspective on this type of art. Thank you for sharing this!

Hi Michael, Im glad this helped you . I am thinking of doing an updated version of this video, anything you would like to be added? I am actually interested in running an expressive drawing course online and in real life workshops, its great to know there are other course out there and a demand for it. Traditional drawing is my main passion, and I love showing others how to be expressive with it.

Thank you! If you are on TikTok or Instagram, I am recording my drawing most days @jamesabellart . Would you like to see a few more of these drawing videos like the one here on KZbin as well? Thanks for any feedback.

I am ‘older’ and am not on Tik Tok or Instagram. I would welcome any of your presentations on FB. To focus on expressive drawing is a real treat.
