Im on month 10 with my ex. I blocked her and i totally went NC when she started played a goofy game. Ever though she broke up with me. She's done subtle things to get my attention.... i know she misses me and Everyone knows it. Im super patient, and my life has gotten better for it. At the end of the day, she threw me away and thought she could do better. So I took my dignity, left, gave her the break up and just focused on me. I went on a first date with my ex 2 weeks ago (6-7 weeks after our breakup), which I thought went very well (we made out and kissed several times). But then I called 1 week later since she hadn't set up the next date yet, and I noticed I was the one (who was dumped) initiating the texting, rather than her. Even though she'd still reply quickly when I texted. I realized I had to pull back and I've been no contact again for 1 week. Let's see what happens. SHE needs to chase. SHE needs to realize that I'm an amazing catch. SHE needs to do most of the work in getting me back, if she wants me. No more chasing or calling from my end!!

it's incredible. I suffered for 10 months. Thanks to the videos I learned so much and can deal with the situation much better. We have contact through our child, but I'm just friendly like I am with everyone. Now I know that he is miserable. his monkey branch is crumbling. He makes up excuses to see me briefly but constantly says without me saying anything that we can never be together again. I feel like he has to say it to himself like a mantra. @@vEnUs.06 I limit contact to a minimum. I don't talk to him on the phone unless it's very important. He is only allowed to write to me via WhatsApp and I also respond politely and never ask questions about him and when it comes to days when he wants to pick up our child or appointments. I only see him for a moment when he gets the child but he has to wait for the door. I also started not seeing him as the perfect man anymore. After a breakup we often only see the good sides as coach says. He thinks we are worth less and that is a lie. we show and live with the attitude of being better and it will seem smaller and less great. Also when he has the child i have time for myself to do anything i want. I use that to do pillates at home. Nothing better then sport. You look and feel better and that boosts your selfesteam. Hope that helps you a little 🙂

Hey Coach, Been enjoying your videos. First off my ex is a dismissive avoidant. Im an anxious attachment style, but currently taking steps to heal myself. I made mistakes and reach out a few times. She knows i love her at this point, so i stopped out of self respect for myself. Im also taking steps to level up myself. Healing, going to the gym, working on health, appearance etc. That being said it doesnt make no contact any easier. We were together almost 3 years. I lived with her every other week for a year due to 50/50 custody of my son with his mother who is not my ex. She has a 12yr old daughter who decided she didnt like me. I asked for a house meeting because the daughter and i had issues before, and i didnt want it to escalate to the point it was at previously. I thought the daughter and i were buddies, but apparently not the case. My ex said a house meeting was ok. It ended up neither daughter nor my ex being receptive to my feelings. I was asked to move out, which I did. That snowballed to space. My ex agreed to counciling, but only went to one. Thats the one we learned about our attachment styles. Right after that she broke up. She said the house conversation made her realize issues with me, and that she couldnt see a future for all of us being a happy family.I know im worthy of love, and i know due to her attachment style, she pushes people away if she feels smothered. I feel she used the issue as an excuse to break up. I shared my feelings, and she immediately abandoned me. Despite all this i feel she is my person. I love her and have never been with anyone who has made me feel this way, including my ex wife. I have 2 questions. 1. I know this is immature of me, but i cant bare to think of her having sex with another man. I know if she rebounds this will happen, and itll make sick, and feel like a cuck because i love her so much. Not sure how to look at this to feel differently? 2. Given all this information, if i go no contact completely, what chance do you think she will come back? I believe shes my soulmate. Not sure if thats immature of me also, but that how i feel. Im 46yrs old, and truthfully i dont want anyone else. If she doesnt come back i honestly might not date anymore. Not because i cant find someone, just because id be lying to myself. I was in a 21 year relationship with my boyfriend, I left to take care of my dad and sister dad had cancer sister had severe depression, I spoke to him and we spoke and we agreed I can go and take care of them. But he say i have not given him the attention he deserves so he is talking to two other women, and that he and I will take baby steps and see where it goes, but I found out he is going with a group people on vacation and he never told me . Any guy who is serious about a woman and trusts her, and is of a stable mind would propose this, despite the unfair marriage laws towards men. We can judge that level of character in some years at least. Something similar happened with me, but my girlfriend was only there for 3 years, when compared to your long 21 year period. She kept saying she is still in love with me so I thought it wasn't an issue of losing attraction and value difference, since there are other issues as well like financial and sectoral etc.. Yeah she's a little upset, that i have a third rebound relationship already and i guess that she might have some feelings because of acting that way, but i don't feel that I actually want to be with her in the long term again. Even though i still miss her sometimes, and it still hurts a little. I actually think I miss the relationship that we had, but not the last months of it, turning sour. Hi coach! I’ve found your videos and need some help. My ex broke up with my just 2 days after their beloved grandma died. I’m going to try no contact starting right now. I don’t want to be with anyone else but I now I wasn’t the best person in the relationship. Now I can’t say they were but I think they had a tough time accepting their faults and also had a tough time changing for themselves. I constantly did accept my faults and worked on changing because I knew I was pretty much reenacting my parents type of relationship! When I found out that I was pretty acting just how my parents act I started working on myself. And although my boyfriend would acknowledge that with me, after their grandma passed they told me they wanted peace that they never felt with me. I asked them if they could just be a bit more patient that it’s hard to change but I’m working on it and they said they were patient with me enough. Now I have a bit different of a mentality. In my eyes their struggles I embraced and was patient. I knew they were trying but they were also struggling and I said I wouldn’t leave because I truly did love them. I couldn’t just abandon them like other people in their life did or how they did me. I’ll try no contact, but I’m so lost. I want them to know that they breakup has even helped me to realize that damn, if we get back together I’m not going to act the way I did and I am continuing to work on myself for my best interest and all of my relationships as well. I want to be there since their grandma passed as well, I know it was very very hard for them. After no contact, should I expect? What if they never reach back out (they are a bit hard headed and proud, thinking they are always right)? Eventually can one reach out to check in? They tell me to move on and meet new people, I told them I found the person I want to be with and if I’m not with them I’ll work on me but I don’t want to be with anyone else! @@chrisdunbar2121 I think my heads in a better place. I committed to no contact early that day and I kinda feel guilty because…. My ex has messaged me that night! They were apologizing and have hinted at wanting me to move back in. I told them we’d have to talk in person about that but I don’t think I’ll be moving back in. I’d like for us to take things slowly, at least a year. I told them that we don’t need to get back together yet but we can start talking and seeing each other every once in a while (we live about 3 hours from each other). Just really take things slowly, not rush into anything.

Hi, I have been watching your videos for quite some time now and it has always helped me calm down and be on my path. My ex dumped me after cheating on me last year. I was in love and asked her to stay. But when I saw my efforts weren't appreciated I left. It's been 8 months being in no contact and coincidently we saw each other in a pub. Her friend approached me to talk, but I just said hi and went back on enjoying myself. But she soon blocked me on WhatsApp. Not sure why this reaction ? I text my ex on occasions and he does respond but 100 percent of the time he doesn't so it makes me think that he doesn't want to talk we used to talk all the time and I miss it a lot and a lot has changed for about three years but I have been fighting for our relationship ever sense our breakup in 2021 in January 17th it was sad over a silly argument I can laugh about it now but then it wasn't so funny I just want to make him chase me and fight for me as much as I have for him I believe it's his turn now if he wants to make that commitment to me I just try to give things time and maybe he would reach out to me one day but so much has passed like three years are already gone and it's makes me feel like he has moved on and forgotten bout me it's sad I cry sometimes I go back.and shuffle through the memories and I get all in my feelings it's dreadful and stressing and it builds anxiety and emotional states I just want to get out of all that I'm tired of suffering the burdens of the pain that I went through that I didn't deserve and I just want things to be right again

When we broke up at first - a month after - he mentioned how there was a possibility of us getting back together. After 6 months, I asked him how does he feel. He still felt the same. I don't think he processed the loss considering we were in contact. I am 2 weeks no contact, and he's hit me up 3 times since. He asked me a few days ago if I was talking to anyone. I said no. I'm not ready for that. We were together for 5 years. He said because if you were it would hurt our chances. I feel like he's breadcrumbing me and I don't like that. It's likely that she is afraid of making a step, and seeing me in person enjoying myself did encourage her to act.
