6000 ka toh mera router bhi nahi hai bhai. Wo bhi free laga gaye the Airtel wale. I'll stick to using my old wifi router as a range extender. This is not worth that amount of money. Good review though.

WiFi extenders are waste of money. One should consider Mesh routers than wifi extender as using wifi extenders it creates two different ssid network in same place which increases more interference among two network (router ssid + extender ssid). Moreover, as long as you keep away extender from the router, download and upload speed will get drastically reduce as the extender works on bridge connection (Pairs wirelessly with two wi-fi devices). Hope, this will help many to understand the technical facts.

You can buy a new router and take a lan cable connect it to the main wifi and the 2nd one together then find a place where you can place the 2nd one it can extend your wifi range and cost you less

simple way to test is how many bar you get when you are at the extreme end, do you get range or not if yes then the extender will work great, but if you are not getting any bar, check at which point you get at least 1 bar (stable one) or me I get 2 bar without extender and with extender full 4 bar, assume the extender to be your router the closer you are or if you place it at such a place that every room is accessing it, it solves the purpose

you can use, find a spot between ground floor and 1st floor where the signal is good and can be extended, it is like finding a center point so extender gets signal and it can push further.

If there is need for such a thing you can go with Mesh wifi system, though you can connect extender to another extender but note the speed will drop anyway the speed drops a little when you use extender but the difference will not be huge

I have my main router(jiofibre) on 3rd floor, my TP link WiFi extender TL-WA855RE on my 2nd floor and I wanted another extender for my 1st floor. Since mesh systems are beyond my budget, I was thinking of getting another extender(confused between TP link AC1200 performance AND AC1200 Mesh) with broader range under budget of Rs. 2.5k. Could you please suggest me the best solution in this situation.

I guess there might have been some reason to install main router on 3rd floor otherwise 2nd floor would have been best option as that way the extender on 3rd and extender on 1st would have worked great, but no issue if you are not using a mesh router then don't but any mesh satellite (also extender) go with normal TP link AC1200 extender - do note connecting one extender to another (wirelessly) will affect performance you might not get the same speed as with your main extender

ACTUALLY wifi extender are good for wifi coverage but you'll get very slow speed.... I have a 1gbps connection but main wifi router give me 800+mbps speeds when sitting in same rooms.. When in other room and floor wifi extender give me around 100mbps on 5Ghtz and 20-30 on 2.4ghtz

if you already have a router and need extension then go with this TP Link extender. If you need to buy a new router and extender then better go with mesh. in case you are going with the extender then place it at a place in your home so other rooms can easily access it, like at my place I have a hall, passage and at end 2x rooms the passage is near the room so have placed the extender in the passage area (as seen in the video)
