Truly shows how little you know about Dakar coverage if you think it's the best. In the early 2000s when Dakar was only on Eurosport you got atleast a 10 minutes highlights EACH from bikes, cars and trucks without the additional bullshits that now there is in the TV highlights. And here you are clapping that they managed to put together a 10 minutes video which covers all five classes and usually only covers the top 3. Brilliant really.

@@hayashishark7378 No they're not. They are doing a similar thing which is on TV but half of that has nothing to do with the racing. Between 2 class there are like 2 sections which is usually about some random driver/biker story or some random trivia or culture/history lesson. Which is nice but there is a million better ways than a Dakar daily highlights to learn about those things if you're interested. These should be uploaded to their YT channel so if someone is interested they can watch it and not force it into the daily highlights instead of the valuable racing footage. And if you actually think that the current class highlights detail/level are anywhere near to the early 2000s your should really watch some of the old ones because the difference is night and day. Stop defending the indefensible.

I love Toby price and as I'm an Aussie I want him to do well but I can't help but hope Kevin benavides can get the win he is such a humble competitive man who always thinks about his team mates only 1 minute away is the yank tank who on his day can ride like the wind it's going to be the closest finish to the race in forever. “Zero reasons not to love this Dakar”. I couldn’t agree more. While so many classes of motorsport seem to be more-and-more about the bitching and drama off the circuit and ‘taking’ the win, RR just keeps on giving. As an Australian I’m clearly barracking for Toby but I’ll not feel any disappointment should anyone else win because there are no villains in this event, just a field of champions.

good luck to all to get over the ramp tomorrow, as a ex rally co-driver I know a little of Loeb so smooth a driver given a fair crack his time will come as long as there are not too many nights in tents. But as a biker my heart is with the bikers the respect they have for each other the risks they go through, the closeness of the racing, let the best man win, most of all let them all cross the line tomorrow.
