Extended Interview With Detective: Disappeared In The Desert: The Jennifer Pentilla Case

The disappearance of Jennifer Pentilla has long haunted detectives who tried to find her for decades. The teen went missing in 1991, in southern New Mexico, while she was on a single mission of faith by bicycle. Beyond The Case learned that when her camping gear was found, her bike was missing but another bicycle was left in its place. We also learned one man, who detectives considered a person of interest, told narcotics officers he "killed a girl." Here is an extended version of the interview we had with a detective who has not given up finding Jennifer.

I wonder why there was no DNA testing done on the bike that was found or any of the other items, such as the tent. Even though time had passed, I feel like it was worth the effort. And why was Chuy's shed never searched or tested long before he moved? It seems like those were huge opportunities missed. I said something similar on another video, but the expertise and effort of the LE officers in these videos seem lacking. It's very unfortunate for these victims and families because I do not have a lot of faith in them solving these cases.
