@Chill Bones 1. Its not actually counted as a special fight, what you lose in this battle, you lose permanently. The devs are trolls (On the flipside, you can steal Choice Bands if you have a fast pokemon that learns thief, what you lose, you also gain.) 2. Focus Band is a 10% activation rate, if you're talking about Sash, refer to 1. 3. You can just get Landshil who has Sturdy by default

I've just beaten this guy twice today. It didn't take long before I thought up a strategy to defeat him (despite my Pokemons being severely underleveled, upper 40s against upper 60s). Aurostice with Focus Blast, Ice Wind and Shadow Ball easily punches holes through his Pokemon with the exception of Magmortar. After slowing Magmortar and letting it 1HKO-ing Aurostice, I switched to Cradily and stacked Amnesia boosts by curing him every time Magmortar landed a Fire Blast. As for Nidoqueen, I finished it with Astignite and Selfdestruct. In hindsight I was lucky to have not one, but TWO pokemon (Astignite and Forretress) with self-destructing moves. They made the whole journey up to the Victory Road easier then I expected.

What about the third match , aka the final fight against him ? Suggestion , Will-o-Wisp and Thunder Wave is important because there's a Pokémon which has Pure Power with 190+ base attack. Also in case , bring a wall like Glamarde , any sweeper , and any Pokémon with intimidate

TheSquirrel A japanese Pokémon FireRed rom hack that got recently translated into english. It's a sequel of Pokémon Altair and Sirius, japanese Pokémon Emerald rom hacks that didn't get fully translated unfortunately... So when you play Pokémon Vega you're like "Did I miss an episode ?" I would rather play this theme for Okina's extra battle tbh.
