I sufferd bilateral tibial plateau fractures in July 2018 of which the left knee was so extensive I cannot now bend my left leg. I initially had an external fixture on my left knee and was supposed to have my plateau rebuilt in 2019 but because of covid 19 I have just been left, what am I supposed to do, do I have to accept that I am crippled for the rest of my life ?.

@@deepakostwal2905 much better after lots of rehab, loss of weight, and acl repair. I can walk forever and running is like 2-3 mins tops. Cycling is your best friend

Fml.... I'm only 12 weeks in... mines really bad... running 2-3 mins 3 years out? Is that due to pain? Or it doesnt work the same? Or just like you don't usually run for longer than that?

@@VoAI_Voice_of_AI No; the knee joint hurts and feels very ruff. You can feel the bone on bone grinding. It has gotten a little better since my last post. But carrying any heavy load (20kg+) up or down stairs is painful and difficult.

@@deepakostwal2905 i am as good as can be expected for a level 6 fracture. You need to stay super busy and on your feet constantly after you get the ok to be full weight bearing. Heel, flat, toe and minimal weights to start with when building back the muscle. My therapist sad for every day down it takes two to get back to yourself. Very much like smashing your finger good with a hammer, it takes your body just as much time to get back in even keel. Older people it will take longer however have the determination to be back to yourself the best you can , in whatever time it takes to get there. In all honesty there’s no rushing recovery. Be well! You’ve got this.

Sir can I ask a question sir, I am involved in a vehicle accident. I had a proximal tibia fracture, on my left knee. It was schatzker type 1, my doctor said it can be surgical or non surgical. So I chose non surgical procedure, I chose long knee casting. This recent days the cast was removed 2 days after I am continuously feel the pain and I cannot even Stretch my leg. If there is possibility that I cannot walk normally even if its already heal? Sir, I need some concreate informations sir. @@varunkashyap7106 my doctor said that I can have osteoathritis but it occurs only when I'm 40 yrs old. But for now, my doctor said it can be back to my normal activities. But my problem, how long this stiffness of my knee ramain? Is there is possibility that this stiffness will be no longer to heal? What are physio therapy? Can I doing that by my own? Since I don't have enough money for the therapist?
