I'm glad I'm not the only one to comment about this. Trena, please, please, please, protect your lungs and eyes....a mask and safety glasses go a long way. We'd like to watch you for many years to come. I thoroughly enjoy watching you bring back the beauty in each piece.

This beautiful young woman is amazing. She is so detailed oriented with every step and she has substantial talent. I hope she teaches young kids her trade because it truly is a dying art. Even at my ripe old age I honestly wished I lived near her so I could volunteer to help her so I could learn a lot of her trade tricks. Love the videos. Honestly, when I saw this at the beginning I thought for sure it was a waste of time. But NO!!!! Stunningly gorgeous piece of WOOD furniture.

I have a chest almost identical to this one, with all the same problems. My grandmother set up housekeeping with the bedroom suite in the 1920s, so it's very special. It was so nice to see what it looked like when she used it. I stumbled across your channel last week and now I'm hooked. You do great work 😊

By watching Trena's furniture restoration videos, she has become a dear friend of mine that I have never met. I just like to watch her amazing works while listening to her talking. Sometimes, I start to chat back and do not realize she is only in the videos! Filling a cup of coffee, sitting in front of my computer, and truly enjoying every minute of it. For me, she is not only restoring this piece of the dresser to its glory but also she seems to repair and restore a soul which has been damaged and forgotten with the years gone by with her love and skills. Thanks for sharing these amazing videos!

What I like about your channel is that your show in detail each and every step. Which will help folks learn these skills, I can't stand channels where they fast forward all the building processes so you cannot learn any of their repairs or building processes. You however want to share your skills which is awesome. So thank you. Wow! what a difference. Looks absolutely stunning! Please wear a respirator those solvents will do irreparable damage to your lungs and later on in life your will suffer greatly as a result be wise young lady...don't be so foolish as to neglect your health like that. I'm not trying to be rude. Just telling you the facts. The more I see of your work the more I'm impressed with your skills....This piece is gorgeous. wow!

Love what you did! I refinish furniture..as a hobby and for some people I know, so I appreciate watching. I am also so happy to see you don’t just paint old beautiful wood… so many channels on here it seems that is all they do…covering up beautiful wood furniture. I’ve even see one person totally ruin a tiger oak dresser because she had no idea how to treat the wood..

Thanks for watching! yes there are so many "crafters" doing terrible things to furniture. lol But I also don't mind painting a piece when thats what my customer prefers, just not with a brush or gloopy latex or chalk paint. Gotta keep it professional, thanks for noticing.

Beautiful work!. My only suggestion would be to be careful and use a respirator when you are spraying. Regardless of how 'benign' the manufacturer says the spray is, it is always a good idea to protect your lungs. Sadly I have a few friends that used to work in automotive body shops that are now relying on supplemental oxygen to breath. COPD can result from long term exposure to inhaled chemicals.
