It's kind of hilarious. The cameraman is there just causally filming the Little Master, and McGrath and they and the reporter have no idea who they are. If your reporter had even the slightest inkling of just how huge those guys are, actually knew who they were, are, that they are giants, indeed, living legends, of a sport whose popularity dwarfs any US sport, and I am sure at some point one day she'll understand, she'd have done just about anything to get even the briefest of interviews with either one. It would have been the most views your channel has ever had... not just the your YT channel, like, CBS as a whole, ever.

Inarguable. You grossly underestimate how influential cricket is, to over more than a quarter of the world's population. It's more influential than even Soccer in that regard, because if a famous English footballer, say a David Beckham, held a press conference even in his playing prime, many even die hard soccer fans in South America wouldn't necessarily tune in. But if Pat Cummins put out a notice of press conference tomorrow, and Joe Biden happened to, too ....more people will be watching the Captain of Australia's Cricket team (the propper one), than the POTUS . Any broadcaster who DOESNT care about that level of reach, is a pretty terrible broadcaster.

Road closures have almost nothing to do with security/safety issues. All these road closures would need to take place anyway! The ground logistic studies were ignored or brushed aside!My LI sport friends who go to lots of stadiums and arenas across the USA have driven by the stadium carefully, many times and say the structure itself is incredibly small! It's June, it's family celebration time, weddings and graduations, with loved ones coming from out of state. They will be painfully delayed for hours in their vehicles! All the posing bigwigs of the Nassau County government will just go through carefully choreographed media "events."
