Hi guy love your video so much help for me My question is when you take out the cross bracket for the window Is that bracket join with the window ? I’d I take out the becket is the window will come loose ?I have a bmw m4 and working by myself I need to replace the exterior door handle cable Thank you

Thanks for the video. I just need to see the mechanism itself. I did not pull out the window on my 328xi. Here's my steps Pull door panel off Remove the lock Remove the door handle (my car has the light and the keyless entry so just disconnect the cable as he mentioned) Remove the thing with the pink cover (1 screw holding it in behind the handle) Up to this point, i just followed his video. But when i removed the pink bracket thingie-ma‐bob I can pull that out and i just rotated the door lock mechanism and it can come out without removing the window. The rotation is against the z axis. Basically where the door lock latches, turn that towrd the outside of ur door and it just comes out. Replace the cable and follow reverse steps. Hope that helps someone As u can tell, I'm a master mechanic with terms like thingie-ma-bob and what-chu-call- it 😂
