I used to make fun of my dad for making groan noises when he's super concentrated on a task but a couple years ago my girlfriend pointed out that I was making the exact same noises when I focused on anything lol. It wasn't even just for things that are physically draining either, I would do them even when playing videogames or making food or making measurements for hanging stuff on our walls

Great video bro, your day to day mirrors a lot of ours in the field. I’ve made the same mistake scheduling work on holidays. I guess when Spring rolls around each time I tend to get excited to start scheduling work again, and sometimes literally schedule myself into a corner. Did you end up keeping the little transit connect van, or move on entirely to the pickup? I have to say, I had an 2000’s Astro van and absolutely loved it, it held a lot of equipment and had AWD, but eventually wore out. I recently bought a newer Transit Connect, over the Dodge & Nissan . I love how they zip around compared to the full sized rigs. I literally have Just enough space for my Tucker/Ro-Di equipment, shelving, trad stuff, and High-rise gear. I’m really liking it. I gained quite a lot of mpg too. Thanks dude for your continued contributions in our trade of windows. I made quite a lot of videos too in KZbin’s early years, and was also approached by Collinsave productions company on a reality show , but we couldn’t figure out how to make a tv show work. It woulda been cool to make a show like “The Squeegees” … Later bro 🥷

You're a freak. And I mean that in the best possible way. I've been working on my squeegee technique cause I'm thinking about getting into window cleaning as a profession but you make it look so easy. I really like the water fed pole system because it makes cleaning exterior windows on big two story homes so easy but I'm not going to invest the $10,000 (or whatever it costs for a good system) until I've started making money doing windows and can justify such an expense. Right now I'm a finish carpenter doing finish work on stairs (rails, balusters, posts, trim, kick and skirt, end caps, wall caps, shoe, etc.) but I work for a company and only make about $40 an hour based on the piece rate they pay which isn't a whole lot of money for what I do. I figure if I can sell my own jobs doing windows I could make closer to $100 an hour or more, especially with the water fed pole system. Or at least it could be a good side business to make a couple extra thousand a month on the side. I'll probably be hitting you up soon to get some window cleaning supplies. Thanks for what you do brother. Helping people learn how to make money cleaning windows is very cool of you to do. God bless brother.

How do you squeegee with out getting water lines, I’m new and I have to do the beginner method where I squeegee straight down and the dry the squeegee and repeat because I always get water lines. Should I get a squeegee like you have or just keep practicing?

How do you get your squeegee to glide longer on the glass, whenever I squeegee at home ( Cleaning my own windows and mirrors) it struggles to glide after about a second of being wiped I also find the water and solution is left after I squeegeed over the glass. Any tips to perfecting my technique and products I should get? I think you mentioned something called slide? Thanks P.s I've been using the same rubber for about 2 weeks maybe this is a factor in lesser performance?

Nope, many window cleaners just use dawn

I've been cleaning windows since 84. I've tried just about every window cleaning solution. I always just go back to dawn. The key is not to let any of it dry on the window. I use a Moerman fliq pad on my pole so I can wet and squeegee super fast. When not using a pole I use a 2 hand method with an ettore porcupine scrubber in my left hand and Moerman accelerator in my right. I can do a great job even in direct sunlight with this combo and I'm super quick.
