Childhood game, I remember playing this with my older cousin & I was way younger and was spook to play so I'd just watch him. Back when they're were "Jampack" demo games.. good ol times! 👍👍🏿

i know its now like 5 years but for someone who might play this and is confused that why the graphics look so weird, like its downsampled or something with jagged edges etc.. After applying the deinterlacing patch posted here under video in discription. Well if u couldnt figure out, like me at first. Just go to ur game properties (assuming u used the newest versions of pcsx2 like those nightly builds 1.7.xxxx) of Extermination, search in Graphics section for Deinterlacing. Turn it off. Now u can enjoy nice graphics, without jaggies. Reason is simply u most likely used the auto option with the deinterlace, that is recommended in most cases, but in this case, because u use this patch. It fails. Anyway the good thing is u can easily remedy this by just simply turning off the Deinterlace and use this patch instead. Btw u can have like smoothed out edges somewhat if u use for some reason upscale of x5. For some reason that worked almost like it should but still the graphics especially where a nice straight line should be u can end up with a bit of wobbly ness, like a slight wavy line. If i make myself clear. Its not bad but the patch on and deinterlace option in graphics section off, is way better. U good if u want to play on software mode or native res. in hw mode. Then u wont see the difference anyway.

This game apparently takes 5-6 hours to complete the game. I remember when I finished it my total playtime was about 2 hours something.

this game came out on my 4th birthday and my dad gathered my brother and i to play it with us and i just remember crying a lot bc i was so scared! why did he think this was appropriate for a 4yr old lmfao

I'm having trouble figuring out how you got this game to look this good. I tried copying your settings but I have no clue what to do with the no interlacing codes patch lines. If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea how to unlock the frame rate on ps2 games and make them run like this.

Try portalroms, it works fine for me. Also they have Nintendo roms.

If they could only hack the games to allow to accelerate the loading times, and to translate. 21.9 aspect ratio to be by default.

@Joe Blow awesome thanks, I think it be best for that choice to be automatically included, where it can automatically accelerate the loading times where there are loading times.
