External Frame Backpacks - Jansport Carson 90 vs Jansport Rainier

Let's show some luv for these external frame packs. Today I compare the two in a brief overview.
As the name implies, The Carson 90 has about a 90 liter capacity. The Rainier is around 65 to 70 liters - but records from that era are spotty. All we have to go on now are 20+ year old online reviews.

Thank´s for sharing. Both packs looking good to me. By the color selection of the Rainier model, you can tell it´s an older model 🙂 But that´s not negative, I like those reminder of a good decade. Regards from Germany

I'm not sure when either pack was in production. From some of the things I've seen online, maybe early 2000s or so til maybe 2010?
