Gotta be honest, while most creatures look pretty much the same, I think that the tek dinos, especially the quetzal, look SO much better. Just… cleaner. And thank god my worst fear didn’t come true and the wasteland is not scorched earth part two

I think the lighting is a bit off. Some of the models look way better from Survival Evolved, like the Titans all look millions of times better in Evolved, they just look like wet clay in Ascended. The Tek Dinos look good though, and the corrupted dinos for the most part look way better. But speaking of the weird lightning hunch I got, I haven't been a fan of the Wyvern's look in Ascended, even the corrupted one still looks off.

They look almost the same except good portion of vaseline they put on metal parts. Whats the point in ark ascended if they still unable to fix game performance? People must turn off glowing, clouds, fog and grass just to be able to play a crap you call a game. Did they remake dino AI? No. Did they remake dino models (including bodyblock areas)? Also no. Managarmr`s back half can still be meshed in textures, Gigas still stuck on a tiny rock. Those lazy ass bastards just want money.

I'm not sure about the tek dinos....the metal looks....too smooth. I kind of liked the old 'recycled' look with some worn off paint that looks like it's been in battles. These new ones look like they're right off the showroom floor of some planet that we're not on.

Is it me or doe the ASE dinos look way better? All the ASA stuff is lower resolution and haze filters applied. It's like going from 4K to 720p. That Forest titan looks like a joke now, like some high-schoolers bad 3D render.
