Thanks so much for the video...I had the very little problem of too much moisture! I must produce a lot haha....I just bought this product and fell instantly in love with it....Its the best call ive ever used/heard! I have let everybody hear it and showed just about everyone I know that hunts the videos about the Extinguisher and many people say that its the best they have heard as in realistic sounds...I love the slide change its soo handy to have! After using it many times the fawn wouldnt work i started to worry because its such a great call well I found this video and realized it was cause from so much moisture that I caused and took the knife to the call just a little bit and took of just very small shavings like you said and its worked every since and sounds good as ever! I love the call so much and recommend it to every hunter! Thanks again.

i'm glad this video existed! the small o-ring came loose from my slide with about 90 minutes to go before last light. i couldn't figure out what went where after pulling it apart. one youtube video later and i had it back in one piece in 60 seconds with a dead deer on the ground 15 minutes later! 🙂 also glad i watched the part about tuning it, mine sounds much better now. i have always stored it in fawn mode. now i know better!

A 3/8" o-ring from the hardware store saved me in a pinch when mine broke in season.

Thank you for this video, had too much moisture when using it for fawn distess calling and kept trying to dry it. Didnt know about the wedge and had trouble getting reed back in. Figured I was missing something. Awesome call, had a doe come in so fast I wasnt even ready for her.

Thanks! Love this call. Learned recently how scary it can be to young spikehorns. Watched one run away twice after hearing me grunt on the lowest tone setting!

Wondering why the Reed design has changed? I bought two ..one i brought back because the reed is very rattly...but the second one is also the same i can hear a plastic sound when doing the lower buck calls.

+Jacob Hershey nice! Im in DE, I have a illusion deer call as well, black color. Deer are in the woods and i'll do a few fawn bleats to catch the attention of a doe. Good luck Jacob on future hunts!
