Thank you, and Yes, I not only had the opportunity to hear one Grunt Snort and wheeze, but it stomped as to challenge me. Turned and ran off about 75 yards...then turned and came back to do it again, then pranced off. Little did I know this was a Buck because it was antlerless and this was my first year hunting solo. It was the most incredible bump I've ever witnessed and I swore that what I thought was a Doe, was by far the biggest Doe I had ever seen in my life, but I didn't take the shot because I thought it wasn't legal. Man this kills me to think I let him go, but thems the breaks.

I jumped a nice buck this past weekend in the predawn light. He made three short leaping sprints before giving me a snort wheeze. Would have had a shot on one of his pauses, but had turned scope up to max to glass a plot that usually has pigs on it seconds before and forgot to turn it back down.🙄 Such are the quirks of hunting.😣 (yes, one should not use their rifle to scan, but the pigs are seldom still enough to see them with binos, put binos down, and then set up a shot).

Love it...but how often should you blind call? Especially with the can? 1x and then wait how long? Or more frequently?

I was ground hunting in WV,had an 8pointer come in on the hill above me, super strep slope by the way. He smell my pee tampon I set on the trail…… he smelled around then loaded down in laurel 50-60 yards away. I sat there super quiet for a good hr, it rained a little, he popped up and came straight down the hill locked in at me stomping and grunt weezing, he came 15 feet from me, shit ya not, though I was going use my karambit on him
