I've had trouble sleeping for almost 2 months now, can't stay asleep, and when I wake up I'm up for awhile...until listening to this last night! This is the first good nights rest I've had in weeks!!! Every time I woke up, with this playing in my ear buds, I went right back to sleep! Thank you 🙏💗

the whole history of colors besides paint was fascinating, especially how the pencil ✏️ was first created. i wonder how the idea of the eraser developed and then attached to pencils so it was easier to to use? Chalk was also interesting. in the ‘50’s, i remember dusty chalk before my school got the dustless kind. it was probably too expensive at first. and when did they add color to chalk - it sure was useful for teachers :) i also remember when more colors of crayoias became available. 🖍️ i loved those. thank you so much :) 🌈🌸🌺🌞🌼🍀🪼🪻🌈

1:22:31 Sugar was also used to brush the teeth as the crystals could clean off the fuzzy feeling that grows on teeth. of course, this only exacerbated tooth decay 🫤🍬. and still in the late 1700’s sugar was not granulated, but came in cones that had to be scraped or broken up to use. i think places in S.A. still do that. 🔼
