In my head I have created a neighbourhood where lily lives with her neighbours,her cozy home where she drinks her tea after getting up,a small cute front yard which overlooks the roads which leads to her bakery,even the cat that she passes by on her way and lastly her bakery where everything feels just right,even the smell of the delectable desserts she makes early in the morning is almost too real.All the rainy day bakery stories are soo good but the first one is my favourite ❤️

I used to work at a small family owned pastry shop. This brings back good memories. Although, my boss had us working at a very quick pace. And if something wasn't perfect he would be sure to let you know. Often customers would be lined up out the door. Holidays were always a busy time for us. I always looked forward to the leftover pies and cakes. Anything not sold was free for us to take home. My favorite part of my job was cleaning out the huge mixing bowl of chocolate mouse. There was always a little bit left over in the bowl. At Christmas my boss would pass around German beer for us to enjoy while we worked. His shop was closed recently. It will be missed.

I love these stories narrated by Thomas. Could we get more of these please? I think the most appealing thing about these stories is the everyday tasks described in such a soothing manner. It puts a chaotic mind that cannot sleep into an organized state because one follows the protagonist with her day to day routine and how she manages to finish all her chores peacefully. It’s the same feeling you get when u manage to finish a task well accomplished. I love these type of stories. Please do more of these.

I'm so excited! I thought I had heard all of the Rainy Day Bakery stories to date. Well, i woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to get more sleep, so I put on this multi story audio. I slept for hours, waking up as the last story was finishing. I was puzzled, as it didn't sound familiar. I got up and started my coffee and rolled backed the audio to the "Fudge" story and realized I had never heard it before! So I'm wide awake now, coffee at my bedside, listening to this "new" story! I love to hear the others repeated, but this is such a surprising treat. I hope I don't fall asleep, hearing Thomas's soothing voice!!

They’re just lovely ❤ And I personally love your rate of speech. As someone with ADHD, sometimes it helps to slow videos down to .75 speed so I can pay better attention, but your timbre and rate are both just perfect ❤

I have been struggling with insomnia for awhile now and I can easily get to sleep at night but then when I wake up in the middle of the night, Incant get back to sleep. This was fantastic, I was having trouble sleeping last night, because too much coffee, backache and my mind won't stop talking. I thought, I need to hear someone else talk so that my brain would shut up. Lily's story, gentle voice of narrator and the sound of rain in background worked! I got a couple of hours of much required sleep thanks to it.

I hope you are getting regular sleep now. It can be so frustrating and defeating when you need sleep but can't drop off no matter how long you lay in bed. I found that one thing helped me to get sleep: I needed to use up my mental "energy" with reading, colouring, crafty stuff or using my imagination before I tried to fall asleep. I deal with chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic pain as well as other physical and mental health challenges. I like to share what helped me in case it can help others. Hope it helps you.
