I've used Super Clean, Purple Power, and have recently been using the Extra Tough... They all work. I like the Extra Tough as it seems the most gentle but effective of the cleaners when its diluted down.

Big F-bomb fan lately, anxiously awaiting your video covering it! 😁 Love it for light duty jobs, especially good mixed with their Wipeout rinseless for quick wipedowns. Smells good too! My go to degreaser is Super Clean. I like the aerosol for some uses, but I mostly buy a gallon and dilute as needed. If whatever I'm cleaning is really stubborn I go to Citrol. If bacteria/virus becomes a concern I use Spray Nine. For fresh spills I will only use hot water and a shop vac (no scrubbing): pour a little water and suck it up and repeat. In my job we run we have these situations frequently and the water and shop vac always work: chocolate pudding, beverages, etc.

Saw a couple of new degreasers, gallon size, at HFT the other day. The more expensive one was around $10. Gonna try out both. Love this kind of stuff. BTW, I'm still really liking Mighty Boss. Does a surprisingly good job pulling the brown out of tires.

Spray 9, 9-1 for general cleaning in the house, 5-1 for tougher stains or when disinfection is needed. Super clean on tires, engines or tougher stains. And for some reason Meg APC 10-1 it's more effective at that dilution ratio than the other 2 and tends leave the surface better when cleaning gray or light color plastics, computers, vinyl floors etc.

I have been using Extra Tough and found it to be very versatile and cuts my cleaning time way done. What I like is that it is safe on just about anything. I never have to worry about it damaging the paint on any of the cars I clean and it makes the paint shine. I use it 7:1 for heavy bugs and 10:1 for general exterior wash and 15:1 for just about anything. I love it!

Would adding some of this (1 or so ounces) in to a foam cannon with say Griots Foaming Surface wash make an effective no touch solution for a coated well maintained car? My car usually gets washed once a week and typically the only problem area is the lower body panels especially behind the front wheels with traffic film. With just the Foaming Surface wash I can get to about 95% clean without touching wondering if this would get my closer to that 100% mark.

So i used Extra tough diluted around 10:1 on my ceramic coated car. Followed with washing it down with Carpro reset to remove any residue left over. Went over the car twice and it did not work. Water behavior was flatter than a board. Literally sticking to the paint. It was getting late so i dried with BeadMaker and called it a day. Opti is saying to use their Power Clean, FerreX and possibly MDR to “clean” the coating. It’s possible that Extra tough is not as safe on the paint as I thought.

I was thinking of extra tough because I can use it on other areas of the car such as the engine bay and some plastics. Prior to brake buster I was using super cleans wheel cleaner which also worked very well but was not economical enough to keep buying in such small amounts for the price.

yes it is.. and better experience while using. you dont have to have a mask on if you go 1:1 and it wont eat up your hands if you get some on your skin

The bottle says it is an alkaline cleaner and gentle on surfaces so...I am going to say it is acid free. I use it on everything.

EXTRA TOUGH is nice. But it is TOO EXPENSIVE at $36 per GALLON! I would go through a gallon of EXTRA TOUGH in very little time if I had to use it to clean the tires at full-strength. In comparison, I can purchase nearly 7.5 gallons of Purple Power INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH for one gallon of EXTRA TOUGH and use it full strength on car tires. I'd rather wait to see if the company can be successful enough to make EXTRA TOUGH in large quantities at a lower price, making it available to Walmart or Autozone or other retail outlet. It wasn't that impressive with the tire cleaning demonstration. You did not show it being used to clean the car exterior paint and at what dilution. In comparison, I generally use Purple Power Heavy Duty to clean the car paint of industrial fall-out, road grime, etc. for which a neutral pH cleaner doesn't do as good a job. Also, I'd like to see how it does on bugs and at what dilution. DURAGLOSS 472 BUG REMOVER for me does such a spectacular job with heavily bug coated cars, it is hardly any work to remove bugs. Spray on full strength, wait a few minutes, then wipe it easily off with a microfiber cloth soaked in the diluted car wash shampoo of choice during the car wash stage of cleaning. PRICE COMPARISON: 1. PURPLE POWER INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH (not to be used on auto paint) = $4.87 per gallon. 2. PURPLE POWER HEAVY DUTY VEHICLE AND BOAT = $7.97 per gallon 3. SUPERCLEAN = $8.39 per gallon 4. TURTLE WAX MAX-POWER CAR WASH = $5.52 per gallon 4. MR. CLEAN MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANER = $6.97 per gallon 5. SPRAY NINE MULTI-PURPOSE = $8.77 per gallon. 6. DURAGLOSS 472 BUG REMOVER = $19.85 per gallon. 7. CHEMICAL GUYS CLD_104 GRIME REAPER EXTREMELY STRONG DEGREASER = $18.87 per gallon. All of these can be diluted to save even more money.

Romeo Mariano All the price comparisons are fantastic and all .. but, My preference is a cleaner safe for ALL surfaces on top dollar automobiles. Those cleaners are not. I only trust 3 cleaners proven safe for the cheap plastic trim and delicate surfaces I encounter daily. They are... CarPro Multi X, Power Clean , and this cleaner. The higher price means nothing with that piece of mind ... and having the experience with it to push its dilution ratios are key as well.
