I watched this so many times I love it! I've been lashing for only about 2 months, it's still slow on my end. I don't like that skin to skin contact especially for such a long period of times and with the light, palms get sweaty clients makeup or facial creams rub on my hands and I don't like it. So having a tissue there helps keep everything sanitary 🙌

Thanks hun! Good luck on your journey 💋❤️ I rinse with water. Saline leave a residue behind that's why I don't use it. So make sure to clean their lashes with an approved lash cleanser for lashes and then rinse with water. I talk about in all my videos why I don't use saline.

Hi Yoyi. I was trained but i feel like I didn't get much information while there and I am doing a set on my Model on Monday infront of my instructor to see if I get certified. However I find your videos really helpful probably even more helpful then my class so thank you. However I do have a few questions tho, how long does it take you yo do a full set ? Awww good luck on your lash journey! Honestly take as much as you can from your class, ask alot of questions. You won't learn everything you need to know from one class. You'll learn alot of things on your own through trial and error so don't feel discouraged. It's part of the process to learn as you go. So I like to take my time on my full sets so I take around 3 hours but as a beginner you shouldn't worry about time. Focus on isolation and placement. Your speed will improve once your perfect those 2. And I do have a video on how I pinch. Go check it out. I explain everything there on how to pinch.

excuse the dumb question but I am a beginner, for the spikes they look so thick so do you just pinch together a set of the lashes without fanning them right?

It's not a dumb question lol and no o don't pinch I just grab about 5-7 volume lashes pull them off the strip dip them in the glue and then place on the lash. I don't do nothing to them. If you pinch your fanning them so don't do nothing to them

Spikes are the longer lengths. That's why I call them spikes because they are the peaks in the set. That's what creates the whispiness.

Love this video and just started following you. Thank you for recommending NOT to put the strips on lashes on the clients forehead!!! I see this all the time on Facebook page I follow and it drives me CRAZY!!!!! Soooo unsanitary and I can only imagine how uncomfortable it is for clients. Keep up the great videos!!! Can I ask what you use for a lamp? And are you able to do a video on volume lash fans? :) and to clarify, for the spikes, you are putting about 4 of them right beside each other?

Oh thanks babe for the love and support!! 😘 So I use a LED ring light that I got from Amazon. You can find some really affordable ones on there. and I will be making a video on the difference between volume and mega fans. And in this video specifically I did put four spikes next to each other. But you can do whatever you'd like this is just one way on how I do them.

Aw thanks hun. 💋❤️ So the reason why I didn't do this set lashing in layers is because I'm working within all the layers because I'm adding spikes within all the layers not just the top layer that's what gave it all the texture. So it would be very difficult or at least confusing of I tried to do this set working in layers. If I were to only add spikes on the first layer yes I can easily lash in layers but since that wasn't the case for this set I lashes normal. I hope that made sense.

Every time I get a new client they’ve told me they’re told to never get their lashes wet. Idk if it’s miscommunication between the tech and the client but I have been really trying to drill washing their lashes into their heads.

It has to be miscommunication or rather the client didn't understand. Sometimes you tell them not to get their lashes wet for 24 hours to let the glue completely dry down. I had the same issue in the beginning that's why I started selling aftercare kits. That's what helped me drill it in their head that they need to wash their lashes. Also scare them with lash lice and eye infections. Tell them the dangers of not have a proper aftercare. Trust me it works like magic. But definitely invest in selling aftercare kits not only will they clean their lashes but you'll make a good profit from them.

When I used to get my lashes done I was always under the impression we weren’t supposed to get them wet at all but in the newer years lash baths have became a thing and it’s perfectly OK to get them wet now after the first 24 hours which is great
