Just want to say thank you for the time you invest to make this podcast and encourage you to not feel guilty when resting. ❤️ Your podcast is a way I rest! It has nothing to do with anything I do, but I find it fascinating and it takes my mind off of so many other things. I remember reading once that there is a finiteness to our time and energy and to live as though there isn't is destructive and delusional. Lack of rest can ruin our families, relationships, and/or kill us, but resting well can rejuvenate us! We should make it a habit to ask what or who will help us rest the most. What type of rest do we need? That way, we can keep creating awesome content for random internet people... 🤗

this is cool Andrew, never would have thought about interviewing the people behind some of the bigger IG pages. Great to put a face to the page

Great interview, really puts things in perspective for me, I’ve been having the same kind of questions, and I’m a fairly new tattooer, 8years tattooing. Not saying that it justifies to not pick up a pencil and draw, or paint something; or to be a slacker. it is very nice to hear these fellas say that it’s okay to not paint, and just take some self care. It’s not race nor a marathon, it’s nothing. It’s just tattooing and the effort you put into it is what’s going to satisfy you in the end. I guess in the words of ‘ol Carl Sagan “I don’t know where I’m going, but I’m on my way” Thanks dude, I really like this interview keep it up🤘🏽

As always, very interesting in a lot of ways! What I've been thinking about your podcast lately, is that you interview mainly artists working in the old school field of tattooing, in terms of designs (Americana or Japanese). Is it because you tend to prefer that style of tattooing? Why not biomechanical, realism, script, polynesian? Is realism, for example, too much of copying reality, so "less" creative in a way? Are "old school tattooers" more interesting with their stories or their way of embracing the tattoo world? is it me over thinking the whole shit? I know you interviewed guys like Jesse Smith or Tim Hendricks, but I can't help thinking that, maybe, it could be interesting to talk with guys like Guy Atchinson, Aaron Cain, Jeff Gogue, Jesse Levitt( I can't think of other names right now). I guess big names are hard to catch, and I know it's your podcast so you do whatever you please. That's just a thought. Thanks again for the time and efforts you put in it!!! Cheers from France 🤘🤘🤘
