Every sin that a person commits is outside the body; but the fornicator sins against the body itself."_ Either George-y boy doesn't know his New Testament, or he is deliberately avoiding the truth so that he may continue living in darkness. He is deceived if he believes he is walking in the light while refusing to turn from wickedness. Fornication is not up for debate. It's not complicated. *Rom 8:8* _"Those who are controlled by the flesh cannot please God."_ It's sad that no brother has rebuked him yet, though it's possible he has no community to help stay accountable to the Word.

I Support Christian’s spreading their word and am blessed to be in a country where we can practice freely. I am a Muslim, one of our fundamental tenants is not to assume others(sinners/those of other faiths) are barred from Heaven, as God himself only has this knowledge and others weren’t afforded the same opportunity( for example someone born to a different religion won’t be judged on the scale of someone who is raised Muslim). This is actually a common misconception of Islam over the last two decades due to terrorism, and cherry-picking lines from the Quran talking about a specific set of disbelievers torturing the prophet. My question is, is there more nuance in the Christian faith when it comes to the notion of being barred from heaven by not accepting Jesus Christ as your lord. I myself among other Muslims revere Jesus as one of the most influential and important prophets of God, but we separate his existence from that of God. Would I be barred from heaven?

John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Heaven is eternity with God. Jesus said He is the only way to the Father. This is because God is equally merciful and just. Because He is merciful He provided a way of salvation by sending His Son to live a perfect life and then give up that life to pay for the sin of mankind, and then be resurrected from the dead (because Jesus is God death cannot keep Him) so that we can have eternal life in Him. The way we receive this salvation is through faith (John 3:16 For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.) A helpful analogy here may be a sick man who has medicine available to him. Unless he takes the medicine it will not heal him. It is able to heal him, but only if he receives it. Christ's righteousness is imputed to us through the mechanism of faith. Because God is just, He cannot forgo the penalty for sin which is death unless somebody has paid that penalty. This is why Christ is the only way to heaven - he alone can pay the penalty of eternal death because He is a) eternal and b) perfect so he has no sin of His own to pay for. I encourage you to consider these things. God loves you and has made a way for you to be with Him and be completely fulfilled in Him.

Because that’s not how it is at all. It’s because Jesus is literally the only answer. Because of original sin, we don’t automatically go to Heaven. So, Jesus came down and paid the sacrifice for that, but we have to accept that sacrifice

@@BeanMGG because their wrongdoings changed the very nature of our being. Original sin is the very reason why I don’t think we’ll ever get to meet aliens. I believe they probably exist, but they may have not committed original sin like we have. They would be very much more advanced, because they wouldn’t have war or greed or anything that makes our world so nasty. We’d corrupt them. That’s why if they exist, God probably forbids them of making contact with us. He probably lets them observe us as a warning to what happens if you fall from grace. This would explain why there’s so many ufo sightings, but we’ve never seen one come down and give a speech to us or anything like that. I realize I got very sidetracked with that comment, but this has been on my mind a lot lately

God is too loving to force anyone into heaven against their will. Jesus never asks us to call him Lord and savior, we choose to call him Lord because of our gratitude towards him. If God is loving (and He Is) God is also Just, Justful, a God of Justice, and if he is a God of justice he cannot force anyone to heaven without an opportunity of knowing him first (choice) , You may say ''No...He should save Everybody''.....What if they don't want to be saved? what if he wants to give us the opportunity first to get to know him than for him to decide for ourselves (in our place)? ....in case of this, we would be just robots.... , This is how fair and justful God is, God is too loving to force anyone into heaven against their will. Why cant we go to heaven because we are good?....No-one is good....we are born sinful....the trick of the devil, we were tricked while we were in perfect reality (spiritual reality / Eden) and the great fall happened. (again because of Choice) if you go skydiving and someone flying next to you offers to open your parachute, do you ask him ''Why is the parachute the only way for me to escape falling to death?''.....Because it happens to BE the Only way. One can say they have their own truth by saying things like ''it's True for you, But not for me'' .....to which i ask : Is THAT true for everybody? is ''true for you but not for me'' true for everybody? because if ''true for you but not for me'' is true for everybody, then ''true for you but not for me'' CANT Be true, because it's true for everybody. Because, if it is true that there is no truth then the claim that there is no true CANNOT be true. these are all self defeating statements, it's like saying ''i cant speak a word in English'', or ''my brother is an only child''....Here's another example that demonstrates the existence of ''ONE'' Definite and Unchanging truth : Go to you r bank teller as ask to withdraw one million dollars, he suddenly looks at you and says ''you only have two thousand.....then turn around and tell him....''yeah....that's true for you....but not for me....'' It’s an over all process- And over all, we are sinners at heart. God is 100% JUSTICE. He can’t accept ANYTHING outside of that! He is too Holy and perfect. Right, because we’ve done such a good job and are headed in the right direction.. Addiction, depression, and mental illness are at an all time high. Politically we are more divisive and hateful than ever. Divorce rates are at an all time high, let alone even choosing marriage. Children are confused because we’ve taught them their identity is solely based in their sexuality. Young men are becoming lonelier and more isolated than ever before, choosing to not even work.
