Those works will follow BY and THROUGH the power of the holy spirit within a believer. If you believe, repent, and have received the holy spirit, you can't just sit around and watch other people be deceived and on thier way to hell. You will be lead by the holy spirit to do good works in the name of the lord by his love and righteousness working within you. The lord has commanded us to go and preach the gospel.

And than you REPENT, which in the greek literally means (to change your mind) or (turn away) ..so now that you accept Jesus you notice that you don't lust over the things of this world. You don't seek pleasure from sin. But you seek the lord and a relationship with him. It is evidence of Jesus and the holy spirit working within you. Jesus said "You will know them by thier fruits" ...also to bear fruit worthy of repentance. You will see that a person is bearing good fruit by the change of lifestyle that the lord does within them. But yes, we are saved by his grace through our faith. But most of the time you will BEAR GOOD FRUIT, and it will be evident

Wow, this was so encouraging. Part of my testimony is also how God set me free from Marijuana and my real "all in moment" where I believe i was truly determined to follow Jesus, was when i finally quit wrestling against God and agreed to live pure with no sex before marriage and only date for the purpose of a finding a godly man to build a marriage with. Typical catholical bible "reading". Taking verses from another context and time period and trying to apply on you. There is only one mediator between man and God, the LORD Jesus Christ. (1.Tim 2:5) He is praying for his people at the father's throne and not mary. Rosary is stupid and useless and just a mocking of the true God. This testimony was so touching and relatable to my struggles. My father was incarcerated when I was young leaving my mom by herself to raise 4 kids so I got caught up with the wrong groups, doing all the wrong things but the whole time my mom kept faith and prayed for me and my family when we were at an all time low. God listens and gives us all the victory and power to overcome our battles. I am now pursuing a medical career and hope to be a provider for my family and church to sew into seeds that plant of good fruits. God fulfills all of our needs and there is nothing he can’t do. I’m 27. And I started finding god the past few years. 12:00. This is what I’m going through now. Slowly he’s stripping my sins away. I give my life to him. And i still smoke weed.
