Maybe try a clear mascara, that way you'll get the height and your eyelashes will hold once you've curled them but they won't get darker like with regular mascara 😊😊

Similar idea: I prefer brown mascara, it gives you the illusion of lengthening and volumizing your lashes without looking dark and harsh (I'm a blonde and black mascara just looks plain bad on my eyes and skintone)

As far as I know, clear mascara is a thing. So maybe that would help you to keep your lashes in place and curled, without the darkness of normal mascara, if you can find a clear one :)

You could try a heated eyelash curler (to reduce burn risk). Or a clear mascara. Or combine to two. Waterproof mascara is the best for holding a curl, you could apply that and comb it through with a spoolie to reduce the impact of the colour by (because I think they only come in coloured). If you fancy the least effort option you could have a lash lift but I’d recommend watching examples of people having that done cos you might not fancy it.

Try some clear mascara Grace! I use it for my eyebrows and they stay in place all day, and when I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup I put it on my lashes. No transfer onto the eyelids either. Win win!

Heat up the eyelash curler with a hairdryer first and then use it. Of course, it's not good every day because of the heat damage - but if you're going 'out out', it works!

There are clear mascaras, I know Maybelline makes one! Also try a volumizing formula of black mascara vs a lengthening, which looks like maybe what you used. Clinique has a great volumizing mascara, called the High Impact mascara. I’ve used it for years, you can go more natural with one coat or go bigger with multiple coats.

Grace for your the eyelashes - you can get what's called a lash lift where they basically just perm your lashes so they're semi-permanitely curled, lasts a few months and would achieve exactly what you're looking for! OR clear mascara for a cheaper non permanent alternative

Heat up the curler with a hair dryer and give it 10 sec to cool you won’t burn you when that way! Also you can get clear mascara that is designed to hold the curl after you’ve used a curler!

Use a clear mascara! I use an elf one that is double sided (one for lashes, one for brows. both are the same clear gel) and its $2 (in the USA). Curl your lashes then pop that bad boy on. Then take a dry spooly brush (mascara brush) to comb thru them to take off any excess product and so they arent clumpy. The clear gel wont lengthen or bulk up your lashes or add color. It should just keep them tame and stood up a bit.

a little tip : brush your lashes with mascara and then quickly (before the mascara dries) brush them with a toothbrush. it'll remove the extra mascara and gives them a natural wave. even though i'm not an expert on make up, but that's what i do when i put mascara on. :)
