I always enjoy seeing people who are able to break the chains of employment and work for themselves, it takes commitment and courage. What I dislike greatly is, the people who are just plain HATERS who can't find nothing else to do with there time, other than to make negative comments trying bring someone else down. Get a life, take a course, get laid, do something with your life... but stop hating on others! Its ridiculous!

I like being an O/O (owner operator) he’s basically like an O/O trucker. In my business I’ve had multiple rigs and 4 employees but I like being solo. I’ve since 2021 actually scaled back down to just me. It has its cons but the pros outweigh them. Congrats brother keep it up!

What a nice guy, letting us peek in his truck and teach us business lessons. What’s there to be upset about? 😂

Thank you so much for posting this video. I'm opening up my own food trailer with branding and all of the marketing tools that you're using basically the same exact operation. It was the real talk that I needed to hear. You got me feeling optimistic! We open in a few weeks. Sissy's Steak Sandwiches baby! 😂❤

Awesome brother!!! I loved watching this!! I am in Traverse City, and am planning opening my own food truck, once I graduate the Culinary Institute. I know it's a big job, so I've been doing alot of research. Im hoping to be at music festivals and events, and plan on having winter getaways to the tropics!

I've been buying equipment for over a year and bought a 2002 Ford transit bus (small one). Going through the pre-build jitters. My worry is since I haven't done a food truck before, I'm not sure where the equipment needs to be placed etc. I'll be doing mostly a one man operation but will have help if needed. Like you, I haven't financed anything. Having no debt is the biggest stress relief. I made a list and bought something every month or two. Still have a couple items to go. Your trailer looks nice!

We’ve been talking about starting a trailer and later to a truck, if the numbers can justify upgrading. We have some killer recipes for simple foods with quick preparation. We have tried them out at parties and church open houses, etc, and all have been so well received. Now, the research of the raw numbers, I have obtained over the past 2 years. The pros who have been all out full time, without employees, and just family help, all come down to the same bottom line number over and over again. That number, after all expenses covered, boils down to 8% net profit. Gross annual sales of $100,000 equates to $8,000 net income. That is more than three times below poverty level. I can’t figure out why anyone would want to do it; and moreover, how anyone can possibly say they are doing well. With that said, I also wonder if the 8% net profit they agree over, is sort of an agreed number to keep the IRS away. Such like if everyone is only reporting that, then it doesn’t draw any attention, or fly under the radar. Any true knowledgable incite differing from that please comment.

Hey man congrats on your Buisness. Living my dream. I’m 28 year old man. Looking to start a high quality quesadilla and Spanish rice trailer. Keep it simple and delicious. I live in Glen Allen Va. My county requires a prep kitchen I’m stuck on what to do with that. Will it cut into my profit too much? Your video is the first I’ve heard of that you can get approved to cook your food on the trailer aslong as you don’t have many ingredients. I’m thinking of doing just chicken and beef quesadillas with different peppers and cheese. With Spanish rice on the side. Any tips? I don’t have a lot of money saved up at the moment and would take me awhile to save up 20-40k to get started. I have great credit though and could finance it pretty comfortably. I already own a truck to tow it with. Thanks a bunch! I don’t plan to have any employees and run it myself.

Ask your local health department what you have to do to have your truck parked in your driveway when not working and go from there!

@LoviesFoodTruck
@LoviesFoodTruck 27 күн бұрын
Depends on your want and needs. Main difference is if the regular food truck breaks down, you’re out of luck. Something can always tow the trailer to go out and sell

I dont even watch these videos, they are all cookie cutter copy+paste guru clickbait scams. No way you are going to say this hot dog guy will make 20K a month and the other hotdog video is $5k a month. Is he selling $20 hot dogs? Or the cringe thumb and title for 16year old kid starting a $220k pressure washing business doing 8 2500sqft homes a week with no days off every day.
