A priceless family treasure.

History, thanks for sharing.

That treasure needs to be looked after and available for historic study. Hopefully it will be placed in a museum with that gentleman's permission. So future generations can view and appreciate the life of that man. My thought is to make copies of every photograph and drawing to be enlarged for display. While the document itself is preserved.

I agree, a museum is the best place for this priceless family album to be placed.

I have wonderful photos of my father in burma during war RAF don't know what to do with them im sure some museum would love them

I DO hope he has the negatives too. Old cameras had much bigger negatives than 35mm, the detail in a reprint should be much enhanced.

War Memobelia would love that! ❤️

It isn't because the expert is right: you can't put a price on something like this. There is no famous person connected to it, nor something of historic significance. The only value is in the pictures, as mentioned in the video, but even that isn't massive. Inflation has doubled the original value, so it would be around 3 to 5000 pounds.

£1500 Rubbish! Donate it to a worthy museum

It's not impossible to value - put it up for auction it and we will find out. Interesting though this is, I want to see real antiques ie works of art and see them described and valued. I have a feeling that what the BBC really wants is an 'inclusive' show for stuff which is worth nothing
@bohuslenАй бұрын
??? Why are you so negative...
@vs71597Ай бұрын
First of all, this was filmed in 2000. Second, like 99% of this show are “real antiques” such as art, pottery, collectibles, etc. Once in a while there will be a personal item like this. Have you never seen or heard of this extremely famous show?? There’s also an American version that still plays on PBS.

"put it up for auction it and we will find out" - Really? The price fetched would vary very much depending on who was bidding on that days auction. Another day it would fetch a totally different amount.
@RollaArtisАй бұрын
@@neilwilliams4684 Exactly - we will establish the value. Depends on how its presented at auction.
