Gerard Butler & Pablo Schreiber Reveal How They Bulked Up for ‘Den of Thieves’

“Extra” was on the set of Gerard Butler’s new film “Den of Thieves” in Atlanta.
How did Butler bulk up for the action-packed movie? “I had to put on like 25 to 30 pounds, and I had to do it kinda quickly," he revealed. "I realized, 'I have to get down to the gym and start eating steaks every night.'”
Gerard’s co-star Pablo Schreiber also needed to beef up. He said, “I prepared for this role by eating a lot [and] working out a lot.”
“Den of Thieves” hits theaters January 19.

Fanel Skejovic Butler is 1,86(6'1) and batman is 1,88(6'2). Keaton was way shorter and was batman, so was Bale at only 6 feet. He could be batman.

Fanel Skejovic The color of the eyes doesnt really bother me that much, nono of the jokers had green eyes either. I think he would fit given that he's also a "big" dude at 6'1. But as so happens i also like the Affleck version and i would like for him to have a shoot at a solo movie with a great script. The last scripts were trash. Affleck is also the scariest Batman to date, the dude is massive.

Fanel Skejovic I think he was pretty scary compared the other batmans. He was crawling on a celling. I would shit myself if i saw a massive dude dressed as a bat crawling in the celling. But i also understand your point there. It comes down to preference really. City of Scars(?) (that fan made) and the Arkham games is probably the closest you will get to the comics for the meantime
