The high ram intake will make lots of power in the higher rpm range and the stock LS3 and FAST(with long runners) intake will be almost the same (+- 15-20hp) even with different size throttle bodies. The stock LS3 is GM's best intake. My 2 bits 😄

Drilling holes in the plastic lifter holders. Is that a standard LS building technique, or something that you figured out over time building these engines?

Supposedly helps oil drain back. I did it on a few engines.

We heard about this technique from a fellow engine builder back in 2006. We have been drilling holes since.
